Stine Goya Fall/Winter 2025 / FW25 at Copenhagen Fashion Week
Stine Goya unveils her Fall/Winter 2025 collection, which debuts at the iconic Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg, where Stine Goya has personally curated the accompanying exhibition, If You See What I See.
“Showing Stine Goya FW25 collection at Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg is for me an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. This Museum with its unique beautiful architecture, an art exhibition that I have personally curated and unfolded within the theme of “separation” simply unites everything I strive for and believe in: Mixing art, architecture, design, and fashion with the aim to give audience an inspiring, refreshing, and most important relevant experience reflecting not only aesthetic issues but also the life we live.”, Stine Goya.
Stine Goya FW25 collection ”Stories We Wore” is a reflection on the delicate interplay between the seasons that in so many ways are defining our physical life and as well sets the mood for us. But most important it also connect us to nature and reminds us of something bigger than ourselves. With the seasons and this collection we look back to move forward, drawing inspiration from the quiet beauty of summer’s fading warmth and the bold structure of winter dressing.
As the hues of summer retreat, they leave behind a sunlit glow—an essence that lingers and informs this collection’s palette and textures. Soft, sun-bleached floral prints and faded tones capture the fleeting nostalgia of summer, while winter’s inherent structure brings a sharp contrast, realized through tailored silhouettes, sculpted bustiers, and crisp tonal checkers.
Themes of sheer ruffling, intricate gathers, and tailoring are elevated by a seasonal lingerie-inspired hook-and-eye detail that plays with the notion of revealing and concealing. Slits, layered crystals, and hand-embroidered stitching further explore the tactile world of craftsmanship, bringing a personal and intimate dimension to the collection.
Prints take center stage, drawing on the notion of summer’s fading imprint: a bleached effect on wallpaper florals evokes sunlit afternoons, while watercolor magnolia motifs melt as though kissed by the heat. These prints extend beyond the garment, transforming into second-skin illusions on gloves, tights, and even the face, blending art and fashion into a singular, immersive narrative.
MAC Cosmetics complements this vision with makeup as body paint, creating transformative looks that blur the boundaries between garment and skin, while Kevin Murphy elevates the collection’s themes through sculptural hair designs that further explore the interplay between structure and fluidity. The Stine Goya Fall/Winter 2025 collection is an ode to seasons and transition—a journey from light to shadow, from softness to boldness, and from summer’s warmth to winter’s structure. It invites the wearer to explore this nuanced harmony and celebrate the beauty and importance found in seasonal duality.
