Cem Cinar Fall/Winter 2025 / FW25 at Paris Fashion
Cem Cinar’s latest collection merges heritage with an exploration of material techniques, drawing inspiration from his background, in particular the tulip – a symbolic link between the Netherlands and Turkey, a key highlight throughout Cem Cinar FW25/ Fall/Winter 2025 collection.
Details of Cem Cinar Fall/Winter 2025 / FW25, hand-crocheted and embroidered tulips bloom across knitwear and accessories, complemented by graphic tulip-printed pieces. Fringe hand-crochet knits, distressed hand knitted tops and skirts, stained denim looks, transparent maxi dresses, and pleated pieces in pinstripe wools, nylon, and organza create a dynamic mix of textures. Sharp technical tailoring with hook and eye closures and felted wool outerwear contrast with soft, gathered jersey dresses. Corset techniques are reimagined in structured eveningwear, created in high tech waterproof materials. Handwoven straps become intricate embroidery, while hand-crocheted knits – crafted from sliced faux leather and tulle – push material experimentation.
The collection also introduces crochet bags with fringes and adjustable hardware leather details. The ongoing collaboration with Squillace1923 integrates gloves into garments, adding a functional dimension. In parallel, the collaboration with the Timendotes association, based in Morocco, features handwoven ‘Sfifa” straps used for embroidery, crafted by local artisans to support craftsmanship and preserve cultural heritage.
Additionally, the collection includes workwear-inspired pieces created in partnership with Wansie Tokyo, merging Japanese uniform making techniques with the collection aesthetic. Developed in Paris, the FW25/26 collection is produced across France, the Netherlands, and Turkey, blending diverse cultural influences. Cem Cinar taps into tradition while embracing the present, crafting garments that hold timeless essence with a modern edge.
