Vaquera Fall/Winter 2025 / FW25 at Paris Fashion Week
Spring/Summer 2025 was a turning point for Vaquera; a 10-year Anniversary marker that brought with it a new confidence, one that saw designers Patric and Bryn imbue the collection with their DNA of subversion and punk, but done in a way that prioritised wearability and accessibility.
For Fall/Winter 2025 the Vaquera team is at another crossroads; this June they officially move their studio and lives to Paris. This new start bas brought with it much reflection on the brand’s time in New York, and the Collection centers on the idea of future nostalgia, pulling from the past to look to the future, yet still through this new lens for a cohesive and finessed look. At a time when it feels that we have little jurisdiction over so many aspects of our lives, this collection is an exercise in control.
For Patric and Bryn, the concept of the American Dream has always been a point of fascination and a narrative thread throughout the brand. They looked to both the ‘20s and the ‘80s, which saw a similar aesthetic when it came to the strong shoulder line silhouette that was symbolic of power; the somber and subdued palette is accentuated only with flashes of pale pink and leopard print, oversized corsages and pearl necklaces. Knitwear is chunky and painted in white, a similar effect also seen on a trench coat.
