Harmony could be seen as a weave of care, respect, and kindness, and the reason ICICLE exists in this world. The balance of two cultures, the dialogue of distant or opposite elements is the identity of ICICLE, which was founded on the idea of creating modern dressing that harmonises with nature. This way of dressing follows a philosophy that begins inwards and extends outwards, and which is nurtured by a constant exchange of East and West.
This reasoning is expressed through items of clothing that are thoughtfully designed and purposefully executed – pure in line to highlight the natural beauty and the caressing texture of the finest materials and to gently accompany the body and the life of the wearer. Under the creative direction of Bénédicte Laloux, ICICLE Atelier represents the peak of a praxis that marries ethics and aesthetics. From this perspective, dressing becomes an act of balance: of the personal and the public, the individual and the environment, the city and the country. It reminds us that only through the sensible equity of all components the overall project comes alive. Clothing offers comfort and belonging, emphasising quality, durability, and sustainability, allowing ICICLE to cultivate a peaceful, nature-connected home for its community.
Born from the notion of home as both origin and sanctuary, the collection is presented in rooms that are a spare and poetic evocation of domestic settings, through which characters pass as if they were out and about. ICICLE AW25 / Autumn/Winter 2025 collection contemplates the seamless relationship between clothing and ambiance. With their enveloping volumes that allow texture to come through, and shapes that explore the quintessential simplicity of rectangles and circles, pieces are meant tobe inhabited, offering a feeling of being protected and beautified. Slipping into a coat, a jacket or a shirt, experiencing the space between clothing and body is like entering the most cherished room: one is surrounded by an embrace as if it were the touch of a loved one. The pared-down simplicity of the lines transcends the fickleness of passing trends to offer the sense of stability of a home that shelters. Comfort telegrams beauty, as a dialogue between the masculine and the feminine, the urban environment and life outside the city occurs, made tangible by a colour palette that is an amalgamation of neutral tones of grey, black and earthy browns with notes of pink and light blue. A counterpoint of dense and sheer characterises the fabrics: wools, cashmere, yak, cotton, silk, organza, satin.

ICICLE was founded in Shanghai in 1997, crafting high-quality clothing and accessories from the finest natural materials with an emphasis on comfort. ICICLE is part of ICCF Group (Icicle Carven China France), a Franco-Chinese fashion group with international stature established in 2021 that unites ICICLE in China with the Parisian fashion house CARVEN in France.
