DEMO FW25 / Fall/Winter 2025 collection features a rich array of textures, including diverse denim treatments with unique washes and frayed details, classic striped and checkered fabrics, and DEMO’s signature tweed. Bold graphics and embellishments like studs and floral patterns further enhance the collection, offering a fresh take on timeless influences. Outerwear staples such as trench coats, long coats, and denim jackets bring versatility and sophistication to the lineup. About DEMO, A European-style bus stop stand is placed in the presentation, symbolizing movement and anticipation. Sand-covered flooring, connects to footwear from the collection and forms subtle dunes that enhance texture and depth. DEMO embarks on a narrative that blends heritage with innovation, juxtaposing classical motifs against contemporary aesthetics to redefine norms, promote gender fluidity, and epitomize “soft masculinity.”

Each DEMO creation transcends conventional boundaries, offering a blend of beauty, eloquence, and determination. Deconstructed traditional elements allow wearers to embody designs that bridge modernity with classical literature, infused with inspirations from nature and poetry. Traditional materials are reinvented in fresh contexts, featuring intricate handmade embellishments and embroidery that harmonize in a fusion of tailoring, artistic ingenuity, and personal expression.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER, With a Master of Philosophy in Fashion and Textile Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, designer Derek CHAN is no stranger to pushing boundaries. He was a finalist in the Young Fashion Designer’s Competition (YDC) in 2012, before he created his label, DEMO bringing elements of philosophy, poetry and science into his distinctive creations, Derek seeks to reimagine traditional masculinity in contemporary and gender-neutral designs. His work has been met with critical acclaim internationally. Derek was named the Designer of the Year (Menswear) in 2016, Collection of the Year by the Hong Kong Fashion Council and the 10 Asian Designers to Watch Award in 2019 & 2020 by Fashion Asia.
