Rains Headquarters in Aarhus Denmark just opened. The brand unveils its newly opened Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. The brand’s Autumn/Winter 2025 runway show will be the first event hosted at the space.

Rains is marking the start of a new chapter. The Danish conceptual lifestyle brand is proud to announce the opening of its headquarters, created in collaboration with renowned Danish architecture and planning firm, SLETH. A mass of glass, steel, concrete and pine, the state-of-the-art space seamlessly blends elements of brutalist architecture with the wildness of the Danish landscape, serving as a reflection of the brand’s connection to the urban outdoors.

Perched on the hills surrounding Aarhus, Denmark, where the company was founded in 2012, the space measures 11,000 square meters in total — with approximately 6,000 square meters dedicated to the brand’s logistics and warehouse facilities. Part office, part warehouse — the vision was to unite all facets of the business within the glass façade, ensuring visibility and transparency from all corners.

Rains Headquarters in Aarhus Denmark unfolds over four floors and features four striking metal facades, custom-built sculptural staircases and furniture, recreation areas including a gymnasium and cafeteria that offers meals freshly prepared by their in-house chef, and an inner atrium that brings organic elements into the heart of the building. All crafted with Rains’ signature conceptual-meets functional approach, resulting in a space that balances performance, comfort and design. Also inside, a budding art collection features pieces such as an impressive chandelier by local glassblower, Alexander Kirkeby.

The rain plays an important role in the building. A nod to the brand’s purpose. A unique rainwater distribution system integrates with the surrounding landscape, allowing water to flow throughout the grounds and nourish the landscape. This system also directs the rain to water a living wall within the atrium, which will evolve over time, wrapping the industrial building in wild greenery.

To inaugurate the space, Rains host its AW25 runway show at the new headquarters on March 31st 2025. This milestone event will showcase the brand’s FOREVER collection set against the striking backdrop, which truly embodies the brand’s ambition and identity as they head into this new chapter.
