Schiaparelli Returns to the Era Zebra

Schiaparelli Returns to the Era Zebra.

After sparking conversation with its animal-inspired couture in previous seasons, Schiaparelli fearlessly steps back into the wild for Spring/Summer 2025—this time with the striking and symbolic Zebra. Drawing inspiration from the legacy of Elsa Schiaparelli herself, who once dared to place a lobster on a gown, creative director Daniel Roseberry introduces a new chapter in the Maison’s ongoing love affair with the animal kingdom. With this collection, the zebra’s bold contrast of black and white becomes a symbol of elegance, eccentricity, and unapologetic style.

Dubbed The Zebra Era, the collection is a visual celebration of pattern and power. The signature ecru and black zebra jacquard appears across sharply tailored cowboy trousers, structured jackets, and flowing silk dresses. Each look merges the raw spirit of the savannah with the Maison’s signature surrealist sophistication, creating silhouettes that feel at once grounded in nature and elevated by couture.

But Schiaparelli’s safari doesn’t stop at garments. The zebra motif charges into the accessory realm with an untamed flair. From calfskin leather Face bags to the iconic keyhole pumps, the print gallops freely across textures and forms. Even the jewelry echoes the theme—zebra miniatures dangle from bold earrings and encircle wrists in statement bangles, adding a touch of wild wonder to every ensemble.

This season, Schiaparelli reminds the world that fashion can be fierce, playful, and deeply artistic. With The Zebra Era, the Maison redefines chic from A to Zebra — bringing the wilderness of Animal to the runway in a way that only Schiaparelli can.
