MSGM Women Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Milan Fashion entitled “In Bloom”
A tale of truth and origins, warmed by the sun. There is something deeply honest about a flower that blooms unseen. In nature that grows freely, wildly, away from the spotlight, MSGM Women SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 takes root.
It’s an elegance that gets its hands dirty. Quintessentially British details dear to the brand take inspiration from English gardens. Traditional gardening workwear is reimagined as a metropolitan wardrobe staple.
Like the workwear, MSGM Women SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection is mainly made of cotton. The details speak for themselves. Bouquets printed on lycra. Floral gobelins, patchworks of broderie anglaise, pinstripes, and Tiny flower patterns with a lived-in feel. A pop-art half apple bursts into the patterns.
A palette inspired by a rain-kissed garden, disrupted by the electric acidity of MSGM’s archival hues — just like the prints of flower-filled vases, also sourced from the archive. The black of wet soil, the deep blue of a lake at dusk, the gray of damp stones. The shy violet of fragile petals, the vibrant lime of new leaves. And then pink. Every shade of it. The fits are boxy, but still feminine and modern. Florals for next spring are not just groundbreaking — they’re an invitation to blossom again, even in a metropolitan context. Gently. Purposefully.
The campaign was shot in Milan at Ordet, the art space founded by Massimo Giorgetti and Edoardo Bonaspetti – a place he considers the closest thing, in the city, to that garden of the soul: simple, free, and suspended.
