MTLstudio Spring/Summer 2026 at Milan Men’s Fashion Week

MTLstudio Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Milan Men’s Fashion Week entitled “SAGRA DI PAESE”.

On the occasion of Mens Milano Fashion Week, MTLstudio presents”SAGRA DI PAESE”, the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which be unveiled on Friday 20 June 2025, at Fondazione Sozzani, Via Bovisasca 87, Milan.

The official debut of the brand in the calendar of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is an ode to the childhood memories of MTLstudio’s founder and creative director, Matteo Lamandini. The collection brings the essence of life in the Emilia-Romagna countryside to the city, reimagining the traditional village festival with irony and modernity.

At the heart of”SAGRA DI PAESE” is a strong social message and a deep connection to the designer’s origins, celebrating inclusivity.

The presentation breaks away from traditional formats: the protagonists are ordinary people of various body types and ages, alongside professional models, interacting in everyday scenes such as playng cards or bocce while enjoying and sharing crescentine.

MTLstudio SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection plays with contrasts to offer a contemporary reinterpretation of men’s workwear. Tailored wools are applied to unconventional garments. Tie-dye in various shades and washed, distressed, and stained denim evoke nostalgia, while raw-edge finishes on wool, denim, and poplin highlight wear and the passage of time. Crochet is a key element, featured in the setup, garments, and accessories such as coin purses and shoulder bags. The oversized outerwear piece, inspired by the wardrobe of the designer’s grandfather, is a standout item, presented as a complete suit and paired with distressed denim. Finally, sheer fabrics and layering further enrich the looks.

The color palette is characterized by predominantly soft tones: beige and pastel blue, accompanied by black and white. Pink, a signature of the designer, appears in every collection to represent the feminine side of creation, wearable by anyone regardless of gender, reinforcing and affirming the collection’s inclusivity.

MTLstudio was born from a romantic bond that the designer Matteo Lamandini has with the past and his memories, seeking to reinterpret his grandfather’s wardrobe essentials in an ironic and modern way. The small village serve as the refuge and starting point for his creations, which are then blended with more modern elements, striving to preserve old village traditions and make them suitable for everyone and relevant today. Born in Modena in 1989 Matteo Lamandini attended first the Accademia Europea in Bologna and then Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. He has worked as Menswear Assistant at MSGM and Marni and then won “Designer for Tomorrow” in 2014 and finalist of “Who Is On Next” Uomo 2017. From there he decided to start his eponymous collection from the SS16 and also designed a capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger that was presented during Berlin Fashion Week. Matteo Lamandini collections mixing classic menswear and street style icons are becoming uniforms for the new generation of Italian trappers and musicians: MTLstudio jackets shirt and overalls have been chosen from artists like Ghali, J-Ax and Salmo, just to name a few.
