Viktor&Rolf Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025 – 2026 / FW25 at Paris Couture Week entitled ANGRY BIRDS

All feathers in Viktor&Rolf Haute Couture FW25 / Fall/Winter 2025 – 2026 collection are handcrafted out of fabric, trompe-l’oeil works of couture artistry. In total, the collection features 11,500 individually hand-made feathers. A parade of fifteen pairs of identical garments, thirty looks in total. Each pair features two versions of the same black outfit. One version is voluminously stuffed with vibrant and color feathers, sculpting an exuberant, couture-inspired silhouette, crowned with custom hats by milliner Stephen Jones. Its alter ego, by contrast, appears featherless and unadorned, resulting in a fluid, softened silhouette.

Description of Viktor&Rolf Haute Couture FW25 / Fall/Winter 2025 – 2026 :

Look 1 An exaggerated, padded trench coat in black satin with oversized patch pockets and cuffs and a box pleat at the back. Blue organza feathers peek from seams and folds, contrasting the garment’s weight. Cinched at the waste with a fabric covered button. The ensemble is tied together by a multicolored gas flame of tulle mounted on a velvet base.

Look 2 A deflated trench silhouette in black satin, featuring a structured box pleat at the back. The front is detailed with oversized fabric-covered buttons and dramatic, sculpted pockets.

Look 3 A strapless dress composed of tubular layers, crafted in embroidered black sequins. Grey and blush organza feathers erupt from the dress, balanced by a delicate velvet ribbon bow in the waist. The look is finished with a vertiginous teepee toque in shaded black to pink tulle feathers.

Look 4 A strapless, layered dress in black embroidered sequins. The top layer is softly gathered at the waist, forming a subtle balloon silhouette. A velvet ribbon wraps the waistline, tied with a delicate bow.

Look 8 A black embossed coat with a shawl collar and cinched waist is worn over a sheer silk organza shirt. High-waisted silk gazar trousers, sharply pleated at the front, complete the elongated silhouette.

Look 9 A balloon-shaped coat in heavy black crepe, finished with a triple tubular hem. The silk satin volant collar mirrors the sculpted volume, while slits at the arms reveal tufts of soft feathers. The plastron is overlaid in a degradé of marabou feathers, shifting from white to peach to pink, with bursts of purple. Cinched at the waist with a satin band bow and finished with pink feather touch in black lacquered acetate.

Look 10 A balloon-shaped dropped volume coat in heavy black crepe, finished with a triple tubular hem. Silk satin collar and cuffs frame the feather-plucked front, where fabric-covered buttons cascade down the length. The silhouette is cinched at the waist with a satin band and bow.
