A.A. Spectrum Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Paris Fashion entitled A RENEWAL. Rooted in the effortless creativity of nature, A RENEWAL is a poetic dialogue between Chinese visual heritage and 18th-century British Romanticism. The collection evokes the spirit of an ancient Chinese poem by Sikong Tu – a meditation on inspiration drawn from everything, and in turn, inspiring everything.
This season, A.A. Spectrum Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26, sculptural silhouettes meet fluid, textured fabrics. Highlights include the Vellure Ultra Light Jacket, which fuses 18th-century menswear elegance with contemporary techwear; the Hartveil Shirt, blending romantic tailoring with minimalist Chinese influences; and the Ashweave Trousers, designed for movement and adaptability. A special collaboration with emerging Swiss designer Sarah Bounab reinterprets traditional Chinese lucky charms into industrial, modern talismans – pieces rich with symbolism and texture.

True inspiration comes from life itself — it’s all around us, effortlessly within reach, requiring neither imitation nor force. When we move in harmony with nature, creativity flows naturally, like the quiet renewal of spring. The spirit of an ancient Chinese poem by Sikong Tu — which speaks to a creator who draws from everything and, in turn, inspires everything — became the starting point for A.A. Spectrum SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
Guided by this philosophy of effortless creativity, each piece in the collection blends craftsmanship, authenticity, and thoughtful research. We wove together our cross-cultural DNA through a poetic dialogue between Chinese visual heritage and 18th-century British Romanticism — a movement rooted in emotion, individualism, and a return to nature.
This season’s designs are contemporary yet informed by historical resonance. Each item is treated as a singular object, with its own life, context, and narrative. We challenged ourselves to unlock the full potential of each fabric, exploring new visual languages in garment design and pushing the boundaries of silhouette and texture. One example: a deep dive into naval history led us to the breeches worn by 18th-century sailors — now reinterpreted for a forward- thinking individual seeking innovation and substance.
The silhouettes reflect a desire to transcend rigid categories, allowing each fabric to inform the volume and fit. The result is a collection of contrasting forms — from the sculptural to the body-conscious — shaped by both inspiration and material behaviour. Key pieces include: The Vellure Ultra Light Jacket, blending 18th-century menswear elegance with modern techwear, in a semi-sheer, textured Japanese fabric that enhances light and shadow. The Hartveil Shirt reinterprets and blends romantic 18th-century style with minimalist Chinese influences. Made from a textured mix of acetate, lyocell, polyester, and linen, the semi-sheer summery fabric adds a natural, lightweight feel.
The Ashweave Trousers combine the relaxed volume of baggy pants with the traditional wrap-over style of Chinese peasant trousers. Designed for comfort and movement, they feature an innovative adjustable metallic buckle belt for a personalised fit and modern edge. Crafted from heavy Japanese poly-cotton gabardine, the fabric offers durability with a refined texture and weight.
Finally, we’ve collaborated with emerging Swiss designer Sarah Bounab on a statement keyring. Reworking traditional Chinese lucky charms through an industrial lens. Sarah crafts sculptural forms using repurposed metal rings — twisted, layered, and assembled into symbolic knots. Each piece is a modern talisman, rich in texture and meaning. A.A. Spectrum SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection celebrates renewal — of tradition, of form, of identity — with clothing designed to be felt, moved in, and lived through.
