Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2026 at New York Fashion

Proenza Schouler Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at New York Fashion presents Women’s Collection in collaboration with Rachel Scott. Designed in collaboration between the Proenza Schouler Studio and Rachel Scott, this collection represents an opening statement ahead of her full creative debut in February 2026.

The Proenza Schouler SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a prelude to a new chapter. Conceived of as an invocation not a statement, the collection begins to draw a thread forward, binding memory to possibility.

Details of Proenza Schouler SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026, The act of evolution demands a soft undoing, a willingness to be unmade in order to change: threads loosen, motifs blur, patterns unravel and interiors surface. A grey mélange blazer with tailoring inverted, its shoulder pads exposed, and raw edges deliberately left open.

The reverse of a jacquard is revealed, its hidden threads drawn outward, detaching at points, turning absence into presence. Coated cotton – a material drawn from the archive – now laser cut, takes the place of a print, its form cut away rather than applied. Through these lines, fabric is given its own rhythm – in sync with the movement of the body. Dresses in black and seaglass fall with a spontaneous drape, their chrysanthemum motifs appear as traces – as if they were images glimpsed through glass, unsettled by light, refracted into something else. Fabrics crease and fray, carrying the imprint of what has passed. Amidst a shifting terrain, desire flickers. Half-concealed intimations of intimacy, suggested in the glimpse of a fur sandal or the veil of an organza thigh-high boot, paired with a knitted short exposing bare skin.

A cut, a twist, a release: these are all first gestures suspended between what endures and what evolves. Currents gather force and resist resolution. The story will be written over time.
