LoveShackFancy Spring/Summer 2026 at New York Fashion Week

LoveShackFancy Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at New York Fashion Week, debuts Collection ‘Prairie Romance: Where The Wildflowers Meet The Wind’.

On Thursday, September 11th, New York-based fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brand, LoveShackFancy, debuted SS26 collection, Prairie Romance: Where The Wildflowers Meet The Wind, with an all-American presentation. Founder and Creative Director, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, welcomed guests into her signature dream world at the Nine Orchard Hotel rooftop, set in downtown Manhattan’s Dimes Square neighborhood. Typically adorned in an abundance of pink roses, Cohen is swapping these for wildflowers paying homage to the collection’s name and spirit all designed by Nicholas Jones and Justin Davis with florals provided by 1-800-Flowers. Playing into the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, LoveShackFancy gave the hotel’s grandeur space a Western and vibrant flair. Guests were ushered by suitors dressed on theme in crisp, white button ups and jeans complete with a LoveShackFancy pink bandana. Specialty cocktails were poured for guests; The Rattlesnake (a spicy margarita) with 21Seeds tequila and GIDDY UP (an espresso martini) with Ketel One vodka. Guests also enjoy wine and prosecco by Santa Margherita.

This year, LoveShackFancy has teamed up with Google to allow fans and customers to pre-order favorite pieces from the new spring collection. From September 12th to September 16th, shoppers will be able to use Google’s Try on You AI technology to try on the pieces virtually before making their purchase.

Music by DJ duo Fivelevn (Emma Nielsen and Cho Seward) begins to play as a parador of models make their way through the crowd in the brand’s new collection. This season, the LoveShackFancy girl celebrates American girlhood; she’s curious, free-spirited, and coming of age. “Part romantic, part dreamer, part heroine of her own making, she embodies duality: romantic yet never waiting to be rescued, sensual yet independent, nostalgic yet restless for what lies ahead,” and her look reflects this sentiment. Midway through the presentation, Nashville-based singer/songwriter, Laci Kaye Booth, joined the show to sing two of her top hits Daddy’s Mugshot and Luck of the Draw, followed by a cover of Have You Ever Seen The Rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Booth has been named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and SiriusXM The Highway’s “Highway Find,” she has spent much of the past year on the road including shows with Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Ella Langley, and more.

Complimenting the collection’s luminous, sun-faded color palette of powdery blues, dusty rose, boudoir blush, primrose pinks, and buttercreams, the models showed off the dreamiest of details with nails by Essie, led by nail artist, Miss Pop, tying back to the brand’s signature, whimsical aesthetic. “The look for the LoveShackFancy show features Mademoiselle, topped with one coat of Liquid Sunrise. Liquid Sunrise is a brand-new shade from the essie Fall Boho Rodeo collection, and it’s also being paired with Barn Boheme on models with deeper skin tones again before being finished with that same radiant layer of Liquid Sunrise.

“One of the most common questions I hear is: ‘What nude works best for my skin tone?’ The truth is that this can be tricky. But an easy way to make any nude universally flattering is by adding a pearly, iridescent finish. It catches the light and instantly elevates the shade, making it glow against every complexion. Essie Mademoiselle is a timeless classic that looks beautiful on nearly everyone, while Barn Boheme, a new favorite from Boho Rodeo, feels like the perfect match for LoveShackFancy’s Western-inspired new collection. It’s pure kismet that Essie’s Boho Rodeo collection and LoveShackFancy came together this season to create the full head to toe look. As for Liquid Sunrise – it’s the ultimate topper. Think shimmering sunshine with a subtle chrome effect, all without gels or a salon visit,” shared Miss Pop.

Hairstylist Brent Lawler and his band of stylists used Goody accessories for styling and finishing touches, Wet Brush for gentle detangling and smoothing, Batiste products for keeping hair clean, fresh, and enhancing texture, and Bio Ionic hot tools for effortless waves creating the ultimate Americana look. “At LoveShackFancy, our girl is always fun and full of energy, she loves life and going out. This season, she’s feeling a little more sophisticated, a bit more grown-up, so I wanted the hair to reflect that without losing her cool-girl vibe. I was really inspired by early ’90s Ralph Lauren, romantic, running through meadows, kind of Americana, but I didn’t want the hair to look too polished or like she spent hours in the bathroom with a curling iron. I’m using big irons to create very soft, lived-in waves with straighter ends, nothing too tight or perfect, so it feels effortless, textured, and fresh,” Lawler shared about the look.

Matching back to the hair, lead make-up artist Shyanna Lundi and the Tarte Cosmetics team created two signature looks: Blushing Romance and Western Romance. Both capture the dreamy, feminine, and free-spirited energy shared by both brands. “We created a look that celebrates LoveShackFancy’s romantic spirit while channeling a western edge. Using the iconic Tarte shape tape concealer to create fresh, radiant skin paired with the newly launched maracuja juicy multi-stick blush for subtle warmth, we brought a dreamy, road-tripping glow to every model at the show,” shared Lundi. Look one, Blushing Romance gave off a fresh, flushed, and luminous face; this look channeled soft romance with radiant skin and petal-pink tones. For look two, Western Romance, this look brought modern cowgirl energy with sculpted skin, soft freckles, and smoldering eyes. “LoveShackFancy has my heart, it’s the perfect partner for tarte. Together, we brought blushing romance and western glam to life with luminous skin, flushed cheeks, and that wanderlust cowgirl glow,” shared Mauren Kelly, CEO and Founder of Tarte Cosmetics. Prior to makeup application, each model’s face was prepped with Cetaphil for a radiant, glowing base.

The models strutted and danced in spirited boots by Partlow and accessorizing their outfits were belts by Child of Wild and Streets Ahead paired with jewelry by Courtney Davis as well as charms curated from MCJ2 Vintage. Lastly, the looks were finished with hats by Teressa Foglia and Mains de Vapeur. The collection was styled by Celia Azoulay, casting direction by Charley Melamed, entertainment by Marcella Hymowitz, design and decor by Nicholas Jones and Justin Davis, and production by Sallee Productions. LETTER FROM DESIGNER FOR LOVESHACKFANCY SS26 / SPRING/SUMMER 2026:

Forever romanticizing the past while pushing it forward, I began this collection with the belief that to move ahead, we must first look back. For me, it started with a Victorian dress I wore as a little girl, cinched at the waist with a Western belt. That dress became a compass for every iteration of myself and ultimately shaped the very DNA of LoveShackFancy. Its spirit has never left me, and continues to live as the foundation of our story.

This season, we return to our roots—revisiting heritage codes and reimagining them through a modern lens. The collection reflects how memory shapes us at every stage of life, from the innocence of girlhood to the bittersweet passage into womanhood. It tells not only my story, but the story of every LoveShackFancy girl whose spirit and individuality have become part of our shared language. The bond between them, LoveShackFancy, and myself is profoundly personal; her story is as much mine as it is theirs.

LoveShackFancy Spring/Summer 2026 tells the tale of American girlhood—curious, free-spirited, and coming of age. Part prairie romantic, part dreamer, part heroine of her own making, she embodies duality: romantic yet never waiting to be rescued, sensual yet independent, nostalgic yet restless for what lies ahead. She is the girl who treasures weekends at the ranch yet longs for the decadence of Paris. Her spirit echoes the heroines of novels and films who break rules and live unapologetically. She moves through landscapes both physical and emotional—rooted in sentiment yet chasing freedom—leaving home, seeking selfhood, carrying fragments of the past as she writes her own future. Her contradictions are her power; her clothes, the language of who she is becoming.

Her story isn’t written—it’s worn. A love letter to timeless nostalgia, each piece feels lived-in and loved, as if tenderly passed down. Tradition is honored but never static, reinterpreted, reworked and reshaped to be entirely her own: a slip reborn as a blouse, a Victorian dress cut into trousers, crochet tablecloths turned to patchwork. A Western belt that was her mother’s, a fringe jacket unearthed in a roadside thrift. Antique prairie florals reemerge as a set, while the sweep of a tiered Victorian gown recalls saloon nights. An 18th-century corset pairs with tea-stained lace; a Victorian silhouette made edgier with ’90s nonchalance. Piano shawls become gowns; embroidered slips fade with the sun; lace applied over denim. ’70s boho sleeves, prairie silks fall open over ruffled bloomers. All anchored in a luminous, sun-faded palette that balances softness with strength: powdery blues and washed denim; dusty rose, boudoir blush, and primrose pinks; buttercream kissed with golden light; lavender fading into twilight. Camel suede recalls sunlit hills, antique gold warms against parchment white, and a whisper of noir. While antique ribbons, laser-cut suede, and stitched yokes ground the romance.

Designing each collection is as much a reflection of my life as it is hers, and that authenticity resonates across generations. What I love most is the way women find themselves in LoveShackFancy—not only through the dresses, but through memory, imagination, and sisterhood. It has always been more than fashion; it is a voice that bridges past and future, evolving with each collection. I seek to honor that voice, nurture her spirit, and tell a story that belongs not only to me, but to all of us.

“I knew who I was this morning…but I’ve changed a few times since then”
