Natan Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 Ready-to-Wear during Paris Fashion Week
Borrowing its romantic intensity and hushed atmosphere from Alfonso Cuarón’s film Great Expectations, the collection invites you on a stroll where each silhouette seems plucked from a garden—vibrant, delicate, intensely alive.
As in the film, where each shot seems inhabited by desire, memory, and expectation, the pieces in the collection convey a discreet lyricism, where light becomes a language, colors an emotion. Soft greens recall misty marshes, golden yellows evoke sun-drenched interiors, and faded roses seem to convey a melancholic romanticism.
The film’s aesthetic, both sensual and pictorial, permeates the entire collection: elegance is born from detail, silence, and intensity barely expressed. The palette blooms with diaphanous pastels (peach dew, powdery lavender, soft pistachio) that are awakened by iconic hues—muted fuchsia, sunny coral, crushed raspberry—always measured so as not to cross the line into being too vivid. Atop these harmonies are flowers placed like randomly fallen petals, soft prints sometimes subtly graded, reminiscent of the filtered rays of a summer morning.
The volumes unfold in light veils: loose dresses with belted waists, airy umbrella skirts, palazzo pants that skim the ankle. The interplay of transparency and fluidity is expressed in noble silk fabrics, soft crepes, and ultrafine knits that dance with the light, revealing the skin like a well-kept secret. Refined textures—tone-on-tone embroidery, openwork weaves, and jacquards with a plant-like texture—speak both of the workshop’s expertise and the tactile poetry of a herbarium. Each creation celebrates movement, extending the gesture without hindering it.
Underlying this, Natan continues its commitment to lucid and sustainable elegance: responsible materials carefully selected, short production runs, and luxurious finishes that reflect the heritage of the Couture House. Thus, a summer wardrobe is taking shape, one that, far from fleeting flashes, cultivates the essential: the discreet grace of a look imbued with softness, light, and freedom.
