Luis de Javier Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 at Paris Fashion Week

Luis de Javier SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection is telling the story of a character inspired by flamenco dancer and choreographer Rocio Molina. Impressed by her resilience and life story, Luis de Javier tackled some of the most spectacular and familiar tropes of Spanish culture, flamenco and bullfighting, but filtered out all the patriarchal values attached to them. Instead, he created silhouettes meant to dress a mother, a widow and an artist, struggling with her beautiful art and the everyday life. It’s more than just a fantasy. «I create a fantasy but it is very important to me that women connect to it,» explains Luis de Javier. «I work with a lot of women and their input is important. My pieces are designed to make them feel powerful and separately, they are very wearable.»

Sexy and powerful, with countless character nuances, the collection is the epitome of Luis de Javier’s style. Hand embroidered flamenco shawls and bullfighter capes are turned into edgy dresses and skirts, blending with biker wear, from embossed leather trousers to leather-daddy-matador hats. Volumes are blown up, textures become wearable art. Raw denim, satin and laser cut latex collide into edgy silhouettes.

The deepest black contrasts with the most radiant colors of Spain: fuchsia, yellow, red, and vibrant polka dots. Ruffles and tassels are turned into protective ornaments. Half hidden by a pearled mourning veil or proudly exposed in a showgirl outfit, the woman’s body is the most powerful instrument, celebrated throughout Luis de Javier SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
