GANNI SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 at Paris Fashion Week entitled Summer Belongs To Everyone
Inside GANNI SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 Presentation at the Bastille Design Center in Paris, time comes to a halt. The space hums with sensory fragments of summer’s past: the breeze through open windows, the scent of fresh flowers, sunlight spilling into a room, strangers who become friends for a season. Sculptural mannequins rise like figures from a dream, recollaged into multi-layered forms that give memory shape and texture. Each one opens a story from the collection, leading upstairs where the wardrobe of the GANNI Woman unfolds.
For SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026, GANNI revisits the seaside summers of Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup’s childhood. Growing up in Hirtshals, a Danish fishing town, days were spent close to the sea, where nature was a playground and imagination set the rules. Summer Belongs To Everyone weaves these feelings of innocence and self-discovery into the self-assured wardrobe of the GANNI Woman. Different to flowers that bloom quietly, she grows on her own terms, courageously and instinctively. Evoking the kind of summer that lingers forever in memory, where days feel endless and the world itself seems to slow, patchwork styling recalls afternoons playing dress up—tying, twisting, draping, making things your own.
Colours carry the spirit of experimentation: vivid red clashing with fuchsia pink, turquoise layered against florals, browns drifting from yellow to grey. Hand-crochet and sewn-on details build on last season’s 3D language in airy, open textures. Draping and wrapping transform fluid dresses and shirts into adaptable forms, with long scarves knotted and re-knotted as bandeaus, belts or cascading drapery.
The GANNI Woman’s wardrobe becomes a garden of memory and possibility. Florals return with a new perspective, blurred into motion like fields glimpsed from the backseat of a moving car. Signature leopard softens to a haze, while delicate micro-blossoms recall wallpaper from a Danish summer house. Tulip-like silhouettes bloom across coats, mini dresses and skirts, with sculptural sleeves and double-belt details. Smocked fabrics balance volume with ease, while the archetypal GANNI suit jacket re-emerges off the shoulder, hybridised and layered with irreverence to adapt to different moments of the day. Textures shift through different atmospheres of the same vision, from sheer organza to romantic silks, appliquéd denim to Italian-woven wool.
The new Posy bag debuts with the functional charm of classic gardener bags and their oversized pockets, while the Mini Hobo continues its journey, embroidered, studded, printed, and flowered. Footwear recalls Danish summers spent outdoors with wooden clogs reborn with studs and prints, joined by fabric-wrapped flats that echo the dream with every step.
“Summer has always been a time of discovery for me. Those fragments of childhood stay with you and shape who you become. With this collection, we wanted to turn those fleeting moments into something lasting; a wardrobe that honours the past while giving space for the GANNI Woman within all of us to grow on her own terms. ”— Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director, GANNI.
Capturing the spirit of nostalgia and connection, GANNI SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 shares a universal sentiment. No matter who you are or where you come from, summer belongs to us all.
