Pantofola d’Oro X Tacchettee Collection just Launched, The locker room becomes a collection.
Real football doesn’t end at the final whistle. It continues in the locker room — in knowing glances, inside jokes, and the rituals that turn a group into a team. From this atmosphere comes Pantofola d’Oro x Tacchettee, an exclusive collection that tells the most authentic side of the game, designed for those who live football both on and off the pitch. The collaboration brings together two Italian brands united by shared values of passion, belonging, and innovation: Pantofola d’Oro, an iconic name in football footwear, and Tacchettee, the first Italian brand to create a supporter line — a label that interprets the language of fans and transforms it into pop culture, art, and social expression.
The Collection: each item is a chapter in this story • Tracksuit (sweatshirt + pants): inspired by the practicality of training gear, reimagined with modern cuts and minimal details. • T-shirt: available in three colorways, bringing the spirit of the locker room beyond the field. • Retro 1980s Jersey: a tribute to the football of the past – the kind that smelled of real grass and dust. • Lazzarini PDO x Tacchettee Shoe: the legend returns, reviving a myth that made history on players’ feet.
Tacchettee celebrates Giuoco Calcio as a universal language and a mirror of society, with collections that speak to supporters of every generation. Already an official licensee of Italia FIGC and La Gazzetta dello Sport, the brand continues to collaborate with partners who share its values. Pantofola d’Oro, guardian of a timeless football tradition, is one of them. With PDO x Tacchettee, the culture of the locker room becomes style, the past meets the present, and football is told through garments and accessories that are far more than simple products — they are symbols of belonging.
PANTOFOLA D’ORO, In the small family workshop on Via della Fortezza, in the heart of the old town of Ascoli Piceno, Emidio Lazzarini worked as a shoemaker, applying the skills handed down by his father and grandfather, artisans in Ascoli since 1886. It was the 1940s. After work, Emidio practiced wrestling — a sport that required uncomfortable, ill-fitting shoes. So he decided to make his own: soft, snug, and practically perfect from the start. Soon, Lazzarini realized that his shoes could also help other athletes, so he reached out to the local football team, Ascoli, and success came immediately. Over time, the shoe was refined and improved, then offered to players from more prestigious clubs. It appeared on the feet of Real Madrid legends Müller, Puskás, and Di Stéfano. By the 1960s, Pantofola d’Oro was present on pitches everywhere — worn by creative playmakers like Sivori and Rivera, strikers such as Mazzola, and powerful icons like Riva, Haller, Burgnich, and Amarildo. Even the legendary Soviet goalkeeper Lev Yashin trusted his size 47 feet to Pantofola d’Oro. In the 1970s, the same boots graced the feet of Italian stars Capello, Conti, Morini, Pruzzo, and Spinosi, but above all Roberto Bettega, who won seven league titles during his career. In the 1980s, they were worn by three great Brazilians — Falcão, Cerezo, and Dirceu — while for South America, Pantofola d’Oro found its African ambassador in Roger Milla. In the 1990s, the brand accompanied the successes of Roberto Mancini, and in the 2000s began a new era: the rebirth of a company committed to bringing back to football the values of tradition, fine materials, handmade Italian craftsmanship, and respect for genuine natural leather. Is it a sign that football is returning to its true passions? Perhaps. One thing is certain — Pantofola d’Oro is back.
