Begg x Co Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 during Paris Men’s Fashion Week
For Fall/Winter 2026, Begg x Co’s design team take inspiration from St Andrews, Scotland, where windswept coastlines, academic heritage and Scottish craftsmanship align. The collection draws on winter walks in the brisk North Sea air along West Sands, in contrast to the quiet warmth of historic libraries.
Developed under the creative direction of Vanessa Seward, the collection explores a considered balance of cashmere layering, refined textures, and understated colour, combining function with comfort and tradition with modernity. Sea-washed stone neutrals, parchment tones, mossy dune greens, and muted collegiate reds and blues are brought to life through Begg x Co’s signature cashmere, designed and sustainbly crafted in Scotland.
Begg x Co FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 Highlights include: Cashmere Rugby Shirt (Men’s & Women’s) – Rugby shirts are a core Begg x Co style, rooted in Hawick, a Scottish town internationally recognised for its strong rugby tradition. The classic men’s rugby is complemented by a cropped, fitted silhouette and a knitted rugby dress for women, reworking a traditional sporting icon for contemporary cashmere wardrobes.
Donegal Cashmere Knitwear (Brennan & Bethany Styles) – Donegal cashmere features a flecked texture inspired by the St Andrews landscape, used across coordinated crews, cardigans, hoodies, joggers, beanies, and knitted scarves, designed to be worn together or styled individually.
Cashmere Lambswool Textures –Statement knitwear styles such as the Boyd sweater and jacket are crafted in a new cashmere/lambswool blend, combining softness with added structure and warmth through a distinctive bubble stitch texture.
Superlight Cashmere – Crafted in Scotland from superlight cashmere yarns, the range spans men’s polos, rugby rollnecks, and T-shirts, alongside women’s Abbie crews, polos, T-shirts, roll necks, vests, and cardigan, forming versatile wardrobe foundations.
Heritage Checks – Archival checks and tartans feature across lightweight reversible jacquards (Blake scarf) and heavyweight styles (Arran Bennet scarf). The new Berkley scarf adds distinctive caterpillar fringes, while the Buxley tartan intarsia crew and matching mini skirt explore tartan through contemporary scale and proportion.
Graphic Scarves – Accessories reference the Scottish Saltire, the national flag of Scotland, translating its distinctive diagonal cross into a graphic expression seen in the Bowen scarf’s long, slim silhouette in triple-cloth cashmere and the Wispy Brock’s subtle ombré print. Sartorial Scarves – Sartorial-inspired scarves, combine sleek and softly washed finishes, offering refined versatility for both formal and casual wardrobes. As Begg x Co celebrates 160 years of Scottish craftsmanship, FW26 brings heritage and modern design together in responsibly crafted cashmere pieces made to endure.
