Natan Couture Spring/Summer 2026 / SS26 during Paris Couture Week
The summer season opens for Maison Natan with a collection faithful to its identity of sophisticated elegance, woven with lightness. The new Couture pieces, supremely feminine while rooted in contemporary versatility, were imagined by Edouard Vermeulen as a continuation of the House’s aesthetic. With lines that are both spectacular and enhancing, bustier dresses, fluid knotted tops and pleated blouses have been crafted according to the Maison’s Haute Couture savoir-faire.
“We developed very fitted dresses, some corseted, to create drapings inspired by the golden years of Madame Gray, interpreted through a modern vision.”
Structure and Made-to-measure, Structured with supple boning, re-draped in silky materials, pure and refined in their simplicity, the proposed silhouettes play the score of elevated Couture that complements ready-to-wear. Featuring wet-look feathers, iridescent beadwork and distinguished transparencies, this resolutely innovative collection brings together precious yet comfortable fabrics: fluid mousselines, pleated satins, embroidered lace and extrapolated fabric flowers.
Ceremonies and the pleasure of adornment, As winter fades, Couture enthusiasts and collectors in search of novelty turn to Natan to prepare for festive and family occasions — informal or formal — that invite the exploration of silhouettes to accompany these precious moments. The colour palette of the Natan Couture SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 sharpens tangy hues, plays with glacier blue and unfolds natural browns, light tones, caramel and skin tones. Pastel temptations harmonise with one another, while accessories — as essential as they are complementary — showcase statement, ornamental jewellery and indulge in playful, voluminous, silky clutches.
For this Haute Couture creation of Natan Couture SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026, Edouard Vermeulen collaborated with his Brussels atelier alongside the Parisian workshop Safrane Cortambert. The gown is embroidered with a variety of materials, including beads (10,000 pieces), faceted beads (12,000 pieces) and crystal rhinestones (5,000 pieces), as well as fine pearls (13,000 pieces), sequins (25,000 pieces) and around one hundred crystal cubes in various sizes. A total of 1,200 hours of embroidery and 100 hours of assembly were required to create this dress.
