Andrej Gronau Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Berlin Fashion Week entitled „ROOM-FOR-PLAY“

Andrej Gronau FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 show, which took place today in Berlin during Berlin Fashion Week. The collection invites us inside, where taste loosens its rules. Inspired by the dollhouse as a system, it turns the private interior into a public statement, questioning how adulthood inhabits spaces once coded as decorative, feminine, masculine, or excessive. Domestic materials – carpets, curtains, blankets – migrate into clothing; comfort leads through soft fabrics, elasticated silhouettes, and everyday ease made visible.

Drawing on Pierre Bourdieu and Walter Benjamin, Andrej Gronau FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 collection explores the home as a loophole in social codes of taste – a place where excess, sentiment, and contradiction are allowed, where traces of self, memory, and desire accumulate. Interior logic becomes silhouette: velour meets brocade, hoodies drape like curtains. Childhood is not erased but absorbed. Inside indulgence meets outside restraint, celebrating comfort as confidence and privacy as power – reclaiming the domestic as Room-For-Play.
