The Garment Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Copenhagen Fashion Week

The Garment Collection unfolds as a dialogue between women and art, where Copenhagen mid-century architecture meets fall.

The Garment FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 collection draws its muse from Danish architect Eva Koppel and the quiet modernism of the Langelinie Pavilion, a place where structure, light, and intention coexist. This season imagines the woman as curator and collector, moving through architectural homes and intimate galleries. She hosts the galla, attends a meeting, and later retreats to the sofa lounge in a sheer shirt draped effortlessly, a book resting in hand. Fresh flowers at her desk.

Each moment is considered, lived, and layered. Echoes of meetings in Macau surface through the fluid elegance of a traditional silk dress, reinterpreted with a contemporary Northern restraint. Multi-layered sheers soften the silhouette, while merino and double-faced wool introduce warmth and precision. Strong Portuguese herringbone brings architectural confidence, balancing delicacy with structure. The palette is deliberate and grounded: navy and black frame the collection, ivory and toast introduce light, while merlot and espresso add depth and intimacy. Silk moves against wool, transparency meets solidity, a wardrobe designed for women, who inhabit spaces with intention. AW26 is not just worn, it is curated. A collection shaped by art, architecture, and the quiet power of presence.

The Garment FW26 Footwear launch, The Garment expands its universe with the launch of its first footwear collection, a focused edit of eight styles that translate the brand’s quiet confidence and modern femininity into shoes. The collection introduces a sculptural wide boot in croco-embossed calfskin and a refined pump, both grounded by elegant kitten heels. A super-soft padded loafer in supple lambskin brings everyday ease, while printed calf-hair ballerinas and a black shearling ballerina add texture, warmth, and contrast to the line.

Together, the styles balance structure and softness, polish and comfort. Each pair is crafted in the south of Spain, where the family-owned factory sits among almond trees, rooted in generations of shoemaking tradition. Here, craft is not a slogan but a lived practice, shaped by history, patience, and respect for handwork. From cutting to finishing, every shoe passes through approximately 40 pairs of hands, ensuring precision, durability, and soul. This footwear chapter reflects The Garment’s commitment to considered design and responsible production, timeless pieces made slowly, with intention, and meant to be worn for years to come.
