Les Six Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Tokyo Fashion entitled “MADNESS IS LIKE GRAVITY”

Twenty years ago, there was a boy who grew up in the countryside, suffocated by it sense of isolation, and eventually ran away to London. His only window to the outside world was a small local bookstore. There, he would pore endlessly over fashion magazines featuring collections from around the world, and images of people in Tokyo, New York, and Paris. He dreamed that one day, he too might belong to that world. In London, he encountered many people who inspired him. After graduating from school, he moved to New York. There, he continued to find meaningful connections eventually founding his own brand and presenting collections ̶ fulfilling the dream he once held.

Yet somehow, the reality he found himself in began to drift further and further from the world he had once admired. Convincing himself to carry on, he held onto the quiet belief that one day, he would reclaim the dream he once saw so clearly. Before he knew it, twenty years had passed. He grew tired of waiting, hoping that someone else might restore that lost sense of wonder. At last, he found the strength to try again for himself. This Les Six FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 show is a spectacle – a world that brings together the dream that boy once had and the experiences he has lived through over the past twenty years, distilled into a single moment. It is my hope that those who witness it will feel something, and carry a piece of it with them.
