Etro Women Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Milan Fashion Week

The ETRO language moves in circles. It’s a system of eclectic elements, gathered along an endless journey, each time coming together in different ways while new ones are added as the journey continues, starting where it ended the previous season, on and on. Everything comes back, never in the same way. The circle is virtuous, the openness to new possibilities absolute. Marco De Vincenzo works in continuity, composing scores in which recognizable signs – flou, prints, references to the British-inflected masculine and formal world, a certain wandering spirit – are variables in an evolving narrative.

Etro Women FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026, This season, Etro-sity is an act of collecting things and experiences, bringing distant worlds into dialogue. It is expressed paradigmatically in the counterpoint of tartans, trompe l’oeil scarf prints, motifs that recall medieval bestiaries or that magnify coats of arms, paisley, lean tailoring with unexpected details like feather trims, small sea-wolf coats, and the pervasive sparkle of sequins. It is a flow in which, once again, everything moves, entertaining eye, touch, and imagination: heralds like cords on knits, pleated skirts, long sequins that fade into feathers, devoré jacquards on jersey, golden fringes that edge scarves tied at the hips like sashes or martingales, dense and glittering embroideries of fantastical animals. The palette is a mixture of organic neutrals, yellows, blues and then black, solid and absolute. Accessories include sturdy boots, slender-heeled sandals with chunky buckles at the ankle, suede mules in collaboration with Birkenstock, and then softly shaped handbags, small totes, and embroidered pouches. ETRO loops forward, again and again, always different and always the same.

Now more than ever (2026) is an art piece by Numero Cromatico, presented for the first time during the ETRO Women FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026/2027 fashion show. The installation is composed of seven walk-through, tactile portals that create a rhythmic sequence of vibrant chromatic fields. The work guides the audience into an alternative dimension, where colour and light become threshold and enchantment, generating an endless environment — a narrative in constant evolution. In dialogue with Marco De Vincenzo’s collection, the artistic installation amplifies its imaginative universe: not a scenography, but a sensitive counter-field, a threshold to be crossed. Now more than ever continues Numero Cromatico’s research in which environmental and tactile installations are conceived as cognitive devices where matter, perception, and language intertwine, generating new forms of relation.

BLUEM, London-based singer/songwriter and producer from Sardinia, Italy, performed live during the Women’s Fall Winter 2026/2027 show, playing a medley featuring some of her tracks: LUNEDĂŒ, DOMENICA, GIOVEDĂŒ, IL CAVALLO, CHIA. BLUEM’s work is grounded in a deep understanding of, and appreciation for, Sardinia’s unique heritage and folklore. Her projects invariably allude to ancient Sardinian stories both in the music and in the portfolio of visual art that accompanies each release.
