Antonio Marras Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Milan Fashion Week entitled Dwelling Within Oneself
There exists an ancient silence made of gold, woven by the walking of ants. There, among wild gardens and roots that drink the shade, a Jana with cloud-like feet meets the Caragol. The snail offers her home, an intimate and symbolic architecture, and the Jana, who never enters a dwelling without bringing gifts, transforms the shell into a nomadic refuge. With slender fingers like tender shoots, she embroiders purplish and powder-hued roses, as the shell turns into brocade and the spiral becomes a traveling secret garden. When the snail resumes her journey, she carries the enchantment with her, leaving behind an invisible trace of beauty scented with rain and Mediterranean scrub.
Antonio Marras FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection is born in a suspended breath, in that necessary dialogue between who we are and the contemporary gesture of inhabiting one’s own soul. It is a wardrobe that frees itself from the dust of time to become pure elegance, where memory becomes the architecture of our present.
In this narrative, the archetype transforms into creation through harmonious contrasts: weightless sage-green silk tunics emerge beneath veils of lace; tailored jackets with masculine motifs converse with black prints crossed by grey-gold filaments. Within the lace, hints of carmine red and burgundy trace climbing roses against an ecrù background. Inlays, velvets, damasks, and brocades alternate on reinterpreted parkas, kimonos, and tailored menswear jackets. Limited-edition jackets are crafted from fragments of forgotten garments, rediscovered, reassembled, and interlocked with embroidered roses. Leather, knitwear, denim, sweatshirts, LolLove the sneakers worn by the entire Marras world, men and women who believe that every journey holds the wonder that makes the world beautiful.
The Icon: The Caragol. The undisputed protagonist is the Caragol, the bag whose name, in the Alghero dialect, means snail. Entirely Made in Italy and the result of a masterful handcrafted process, it is not simply an object but a talisman rich with meaning, an extension of one’s dwelling to carry into the world. Its palette – from Burgundy to Teal, passing through Ivory and Brown – offers a deep and tactile interpretation of beauty. Authentic beauty is not worn: it is lived. For this reason, the Caragol embraces the see now buy now philosophy. Starting February 25, the enchantment of the runway dissolves waiting and becomes immediately available at the Flagship Stores in Milan Montenapoleone, Florence, Rome, and New York, as well as online.
It is an invitation to slow down, transforming every journey into a garden of roses. A gesture that dissolves waiting and turns the present into a space of experience.
