Alaïa Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Paris Fashion Week

“This is my final collection for Maison Alaïa, a house of heart and soul, to which I have given mine. This collection is not about me. It is about the Alaïa team — our family — and an expression of all we have learned, and felt, and loved across the past five years. Minimal, pure, essential. Stripped back, reduced to the very essence of Alaïa. It is a reflection both on and of Azzedine’s work, marked with traces of myself. The passage of my time here. Materials are both humble and precious: loden, viscose, cotton velvet, latex, raw-cut wool. Their modesty contrasts with the exceptional, a dichotomy that is quintessentially Alaïa. Accessories are pared back, taken away. There is no distraction. The focus here is on the body within the clothes, clothes that always celebrate women.

Silhouettes shift, materials evolve, time changes. Alaïa FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 collection breathes, lives. It blooms from strictness, an athletic linearity, into fullness, like expanding possibilities. There are eternal totems of Alaïa that I had to address, to pay homage to— dresses of chiffon and transparent jersey, inlaid with crocodile, a personal homage, to my favorite Azzedine pieces. There are Alaïa proportions, timeless yet reconsidered for today. Even the timeless must reflect its times. This season, we have worked with the artist Keizo Kitajima — whose photography, like the work of Alaïa, affects and shapes those who see it. He has created a series of portraits, of the people who have created this collection. In turn, this collection is itself a portrait of Alaïa. Not my Alaïa, our Alaïa. I am proud that I am a part of the history of this house — and this house will be a part of me, forever. Much love, always.
