In PARIS, March 5, 2026, The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) successfully staged CONCEPT KOREA FW26 on March 2–3 at Palais de Tokyo in Paris. The program featured three Korean designer brands, KIMHĒKIM, RE RHEE, and BONBOM, each presenting a new collection and further amplifying K-fashion’s presence on the global stage.

CONCEPT KOREA is a long-running initiative supporting the international expansion of promising Korean designers. By providing opportunities to present new collections in major fashion capitals, the platform aims to strengthen the global competitiveness of Korea’s designer brands. Distinct brand narratives and identities earn continued acclaim in Paris.

On March 2, KIMHĒKIM presented a standalone show celebrating the brand’s 10th anniversary, unveiling “ENTER THE SPECTRUM,” a collection that distilled its decade-long design language into a focused statement. The runway opened with sculptural hair pieces and sharply controlled silhouettes, then progressed into looks defined by increasingly refined tailoring and embellishment. Industry attendees noted the brand’s ability to expand its signature aesthetic through a house-led interpretation of classic French couture techniques.

On March 3, RE RHEE and BONBOM shared a joint runway presentation for their Fall/Winter 2026 Collection. The format drew praise for demonstrating how designers can reinterpret familiar values through distinct perspectives, ultimately sharpening each brand’s authored identity.

RE RHEE Fall/Winter 2026 presented “Inherited, Rebuilt,” reflecting on tradition and the meaning of continuity. Designers JUNE BOK RHEE and HYUNJUNG JOO reinterpreted the creative possibilities embedded in heritage, presenting the label’s signature refined elegance. The collection was positively received for moving beyond literal reproduction of traditional dress structures, translating references through a contemporary lens.

BONBOM Fall/Winter 2026 explored contrast and harmony through “Military & Femininity.” Designer JO BONBOM juxtaposed structured outerwear with softer materials, incorporating uniform-inspired details and tailoring elements to propose a fresh aesthetic reading. By layering disparate textures to heighten dimension and tactility, the collection drew particular attention from Paris-based industry guests.

K-pop artist appearance draws press and audience attention, strengthening the foundation for K-fashion’s global expansion. K-pop artist ALPHA DRIVE ONE, the official CONCEPT KOREA ambassador, attended the full program across both days, adding momentum on site and drawing cameras and crowds. The appearance helped extend attention beyond the runway, contributing to broader awareness of K-fashion among local press and audiences.

“CONCEPT KOREA 2026 Fall/Winter was a moment that once again underscored the creativity and competitiveness of Korean fashion on the global stage,” said Yoo Hyunseok, Acting President of KOCCA. “We will continue to provide structured support so that Korean designer brands can further expand their presence worldwide.”
