Malo Launches Bijoux Capsule Jewelry Collection
Knitwear translated into metal. Malo introduces a capsule of bijoux inspired by the gestures, textures and construction of its cashmere heritage. Malo presents a first jewelry collection, an eleven-piece bijoux capsule that extends the Tuscan house’s language of knitwear into a new expression of form, texture and light. Conceived as a natural continuation of the Malo wardrobe, the collection draws from the codes of cashmere without treating them literally. Interlacing, knotting, ribbing and tension become sculpted volumes, polished surfaces and worked metal. The softness of knitwear is translated through structure, with each piece carrying a trace of the gesture that inspired it.
The capsule is articulated around key designs that reflect this vocabulary. The Arezzo Chain Necklace and Bracelet evoke the movement of interlaced threads through generous, tactile links. The Nodo Fiorentino pieces reinterpret the gesture of yarn looped and tightened by hand, bringing a sculptural dimension to the collection. The Aurea di Siena Necklace, with its rounded pendant and black enamel detailing, introduces a more graphic expression, while the 1972 Chain gives the capsule its most assertive silhouette. The Notte Toscana group deepens this dialogue with glossy black enamel set against warm gold, bringing a rich, almost nocturnal intensity to the collection — polished, sculptural, and unmistakably Italian.
Throughout the collection, a contemporary T-Bar closure appears as a discreet signature. Finished with a cabochon in Malo blue, the only chromatic note beyond gold and black, it links necklaces, bracelets and chains through a shared detail rather than visible branding. This recurring element gives the capsule its rhythm and reinforces its identity across the different pieces.
Craftsmanship is central to the collection. Each piece is crafted in 18-karat gold-plated brass, a reference material in the world of bijoux, and hand-finished by artisans in Arezzo, Italy, a historic Tuscan centre of goldsmithing. This choice anchors the capsule in Malo’s commitment to Italian manufacturing and to the precision of the hand, from the construction of each link to the polish of each surface. Black enamel and the signature Malo blue complete the palette, introducing depth, contrast and a subtle point of identity.
Designed as an extension of the Malo wardrobe, the capsule is conceived to accompany knitwear with structure, light and contrast. Worn against cashmere, the pieces reveal their full tension: polished metal against softness, black enamel against pale fibres, sculptural links against the fluidity of the knit. A ribbed bracelet may be layered with a knotted ring, a T-Bar choker worn beneath a chain, or black enamel earrings used as a sharper counterpoint to a cashmere silhouette.
Across the Malo Bijoux Jewelry Collection, recurring themes such as the knot, the ribbed surface, the T-Bar closure and the dialogue between gloss and grain establish a coherent jewelry language. Each piece is designed to stand alone, but also to be layered, mixed and lived in over time.
