Zanclea Launch New Collection in Milan

Milan, June 9, 2026 – In the prestigious setting of 10 Corso Como in Milan, Zanclea officially debuted, the new tech accessories brand founded by Maud Laverdant and Mafalda Aiello. The launch event successfully combined the culture of contemporary design with the introduction of a movement dedicated to functional elegance and a new generation of female entrepreneurship.

During the presentation, seven bag and accessory designs were unveiled, showcased in a range of sophisticated shades. The creations are divided into three distinct collections, each interpreting different facets of the contemporary woman: the ELLE line, representing a more romantic side; the dynamic SHE line; and the LEI line, an expression of rational identity. Designed for professionals constantly on the move between global cities such as Milan, Amsterdam, and Paris, these models were created to elegantly accommodate everyday work essentials — including laptops, cables, passports, and notebooks — and can effortlessly transform into practical backpacks thanks to removable straps, combining aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.

Zanclea’s innovation begins with next-generation materials developed in collaboration with ACBC, a leading company in sustainable research and development. The products feature innovative materials from the FreeBio™ family, with an exterior composed of 55% recycled technical polyamide and a lining made with 95% high-performance recycled polyester.

The launch event also hosted the Leadership Talk, “Entrepreneur Conversation,” a moment of discussion centered on the creative act of modern entrepreneurship. Moderated by International Creative Industry Advisor Orietta Pelizzari, the conversation brought together five female entrepreneurs who chose Milan as the ecosystem in which to transform vision into reality.

Zanclea’s two founders shared their complementary approaches: Maud Laverdant brought a product engineering mindset to the brand, addressing a genuine gap in the market, while Mafalda Aiello infused the project with a design-driven culture, overseeing material development alongside ACBC. Joining them were Caroline Baranes (Chief Business Officer at Baralan), who shared the experience of representing the third generation of a historic luxury beauty packaging company; Aram Chantal Mbow (Founder & CEO of Innovamey and former Inspiring Fifty honoree), who discussed how human-centered innovation can engage with new generations in the fashion and luxury sectors; and Laura Morino (Founder of Morino Studio and recipient of the Donna Comunicazione Award), who highlighted the strategic value of networking in the evolution of Milan’s business landscape.

The talk clearly demonstrated how a new generation of female entrepreneurs is redefining global business models, reaffirming that innovation is never a leap into the unknown, but rather a creative, intelligent, and sustainable response to the needs of everyday life.
