Lanvin Men Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Paris Fashion Week entitled Exquisite Bodies

For Spring/Summer 2027 Men Collection, Artistic Director Peter Copping continues his exploration of the modern Lanvin wardrobe through a collection rooted in the enduring codes of menswear. Familiar archetypes are reformulated in the Lanvin way, with unexpected details and playful touches. Defined by color, ease, movement, and self-expression, the collection moves beyond the predictable logic of a menswear uniform, celebrating an instinctive and individual approach to dressing.

For inspiration of Lanvin Men SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027, Copping turns to Surrealism and the offbeat style of some of its founders, whom Jeanne Lanvin knew personally and dressed. The silhouette that emerges is youthful, romantic, and effortless. Relaxed proportions, elongated lines, and fluid fabrics lend a sense of continuous motion, holding a vision that privileges comfort without surrendering sophistication.

At the heart of Lanvin Men SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection lies a dialogue between structure and fluidity. Tailoring remains central to Lanvin, though softened and less prescriptive. Double-breasted jackets and relaxed trousers are cut in lightweight wools, washed silks, and textured cottons that move naturally with the body. Crinkled and gently lived-in finishes carry a quiet familiarity, as though each piece had already gathered a history of its own. Utility garments form another pillar of the season. Parkas, safari jackets, workwear trousers, jumpsuits, and trench coats are recast in refined fabrics and considered construction, where the practical and the elegant meet on equal terms.

In a nod to the 100th anniversary of Lanvin Menswear, the Maison unveils a capsule collection created in collaboration with British knitwear maker John Smedley. The result is a selection of elevated essentials: striped knits with discreet Lanvin signatures, softly structured shirts distinguished by textured collars, and fine-gauge sweaters animated by archival chevron motifs, each one settling naturally into the Spring/Summer 2027 universe. A grounding palette of navy, black, khaki, and beige is lifted by vibrant accents of pink and blue, bringing optimism to the season. The same instinct shapes the accessories. Lanvin reinterprets its signature footwear and leather goods, including polished loafers, lightweight sneakers, and reimagined versions of the LNV2 and Pencil Cat bags.

Lanvin Men SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 moves with a renewed sense of freedom and grace. The collection is unveiled during an intimate gathering at Lanvin’s new home in Paris’s 10th arrondissement: Hôtel de Botterel-Quintin, a former private mansion dating from 1780. Conceived as a three-dimensional moodboard, the installation offers a glimpse into the creative process behind the collection. Reference images, paper patterns and fabric swatches reveal the visual narrative and craftsmanship behind each piece — a dialogue that continues throughout the accompanying lookbook photographed within the house.

About Lanvin Homme, The first line of menswear launched by a Parisian couture house, Lanvin Homme was established as Lanvin Tailleur Chemisier in 1926 at 15 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, expanded to include a line of ready-to-wear in 1972. A trio of master Parisian tailors were employed at the debut of Lanvin’s menswear, their prowess rapidly attracting a clientele of metropolitan men from around the world. All pieces were made-to-measure, including those for the Académie Française. Existent until the twenty-first century, made-to-measure clients encompassed artists, dignitaries and cultural behemoths including Jean Cocteau, Alain Delon, François Truffaut, Leopold Sédar Senghor, Serge Gainsbourg, Salvador Dali, François Mitterrand and Harrison Ford.
