Activewear Brand TOJI Launches with the Philosophy of “Records on the Ground” For SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026. Running-focused activewear brand inspired by the philosophy of To (土) and Ji (誌). Refined aesthetic focused on functionality, defined by a brand identity driven logo and an all-black color palette.
TOJI is a new activewear brand introduced by SAN SAN GEAR, created for Korea’s unique environment where urban life and nature coexist. The name TOJI combines the Chinese characters To (土), meaning “earth” or “soil,” and Ji (誌), meaning “record,” reflecting the philosophy of “Records on the Ground” and the belief that our movements leave traces with every step we take. The theme of TOJI’s debut SS26 collection, “Radix,” is derived from the Latin word meaning “root.” It symbolizes the resilience and vitality of a brand taking root in the earth for the very first time, while embodying TOJI’s belief in valuing not only visible outcomes, but also the process that sustains them and the moments that unfold along the way.
TOJI’s design philosophy centers on practicality, avoiding unnecessary complexity. Through a refined aesthetic that eliminates superfluous details while prioritizing functionality, the brand aims to deliver optimal comfort not only for running performance but also for everyday life in the city. To establish a distinct identity, TOJI incorporates its logo and symbol—visual expressions of the brand’s ethos—throughout the collection. The brand also adopts a single color, “Black,” representing both the convergence of all colors and the origin of all things, to express the roots from which TOJI first takes hold in the earth.
Running is the core sport at the heart of TOJI. To build a strong foundation of authenticity as an activewear brand, Director Kim Gi-eun, founder of the running store wherever, was involved from the earliest stages of development and played a key role in shaping the brand’s beginning. Toji SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 collection was designed with a focus on functionality that supports a wide range of running environments, from light jogging to mid-distance running, while fulfilling two essential purposes: serving as “Gear” that enhances running performance and as “Wear” that seamlessly integrates into everyday urban life. The SS26 collection consists of 10 apparel styles, including windbreakers, T-shirts, shorts, and tights, along with one accessory style. The collection will be available at SAN SAN GEAR’s official flagship store and online.
