Georges Hobeika Couture Fall/Winter 2026-2027 / FW26 at Paris Haute Couture Week entitled “The Visitor”
There is nothing more extraordinary, and yet faster to forget, than the privilege to be here. This Couture FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026-2027, Georges and Jad Hobeika, father and son, have drawn inspiration from James McCrae’s poem ‘Instructions Before Visiting Earth’, which urges us to live with our hearts and eyes wide open, and to never grow accustomed to the beauty of the world. The House’s new collection translates this vision into a wardrobe of light, from day to night.
The precise, architectural collection offers a lighthearted take on the aesthetic codes of the House. From conception to production, all of the pieces are created in the workshops in Beirut and Paris. Embroidery, our signature technique, expands into motifs that require exceptional craftsmanship, punctuated by iridescent beads and a glassy finish, almost liquid. Lace, this collection’s favoured material, is intertwined with satin, silk and organza. The ultimate femininity expresses the very spirit of elegance.
Blue dominates the palette, in all its shades, from greyish tones to deep hues, through to the sky and ocean-black. Beige, the House’s beloved colour for several seasons now, tempers it, with touches of pink and a nuanced green, ranging from mint to pine. Flowing columns, sculpted and draped bustiers accompany the figures in a continuous forward movement, whilst intricately crafted jackets bridge the gap between day and evening dresses. The precise, architectural silhouette offers an ethereal take on the House’s signature codes.
Nature reclaims its place, and Georges Hobeika Couture FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection lingers over the small wonders. A beetle in silver and gold, a snail, an orchid in bloom, each becomes an earring of its own, a fragment of the living world worn close to the skin. The orchid travels further still, settling onto some some shoes, while another pair is dressed in lace.
About the House, Since opening our workshop in Lebanon in 1995, our independent House has always been committed to preserving exceptional craftsmanship. Under the artistic direction of Georges and Jad Hobeika, father and son, the brand cultivate a subtle balance between heritage and innovation. The most precious materials are combined with revolutionary embroidery techniques to create designs that blend strength, sensuality and elegance.
