printings.jp releases the second volume of its MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA Archive Book series printings.jp, the publisher and curator specializing in fashion- and art-related printed matter, announces the release of its latest MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA archive book, titled “non four stitch”.
This volume focuses on a series of garments that forgo the iconic four-stitch label synonymous with MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA, instead featuring process labels describing the garment’s production process stitched directly onto the clothing itself. Spanning 472 pages, the publication is a comprehensive archive centered on the rare garments held in the collection of LAILA, the parent organization of printings.jp, systematically documenting these significant works.
Advance pre-orders will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 30th, through the printings.jp online store. The book will also be available in stores starting Thursday, September 17th.
