WISHARAWISH, a brand that blends traditional Thai craftsmanship with contemporary design, held its fifth show at Rakuten FWT. The theme of WISHARAWISH SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection was “SALADE DE FRUITS,” inspired by the French song of the same name, expressing the beauty of contrast and harmony created between different elements.

A V-shaped runway with red lighting created a more sophisticated atmosphere than usual. The collection was packed with items that exuded the signature glamour of the brand, including tops featuring abundant sequins and bottoms with beautiful sheen.

But a look that coordinates everything from hats to bottoms all made from the same fabric can only truly shine as much as much as the fabric itself. This is why all production of materials for construction take place in Thailand, making full use of traditional techniques and craftsmanship. For WISHARAWISH SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection, the brand collaborated with five fabric producers from across Thailand, utilizing hand-woven silk and hand-printed patik, among other materials.

During the post-show press conference, the designer commented about the abundance of shimmering fabrics, stating, “Precisely because lately there is so much news that makes us feel unsettled or anxious, I hope to convey a sense of brightness and positivity—even if only a little—through fashion.”
