September 8th 2026 – Architect and Creative Director AMO at OMA, Samir Bantal, wears the STONE ISLAND GHOST standout piece 4100062 DAVID-TC. Beginning with a star-shaped Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, this short down parka is sewn and then simultaneously garment dyed and treated with an anti-drop agent. During the dye process, under pressure at 130°C, the fabric undergoes heat-induced compression, radically transforming its hand and body. The results are beautiful and wearable garments with a truly unique tactile experience that are both industrial and luxurious at the same time.
Building on its continuous momentum, the elevated, trans-seasonal wardrobe offering of the STONE ISLAND GHOST line is extended to ensure year-round availability. Influenced by brutalist architecture and functional elements of military clothing, the collection is built on versatility. The complexity of construction and colour matching is further masked by the monochromatic nature of the elegant end product. In addition to beige, military green, and black, the seasonal colour for this iteration is Terracotta. Standout pieces that reflect material innovation include a bonded rubberized leather blouson, a parka in wool ripstop-TC, and a hooded jacket in DAVID-TC.
