For Spring/Summer 2027, Korean designer Park Choon Moo presents PARKCHOONMOO, her signature line within DEMOO, in Paris.

Entitled ‘無 (VOID)’, the collection explores the notion of emptiness — a space of absence and stillness, suspended between life and death. This idea becomes the central metaphor of the season, expressing a sense of ultimate quietude and restrained beauty. Rooted in Park Choon Moo’s distinctive approach to minimalism, the collection brings together clean, refined forms and bold, sculptural silhouettes. Elements drawn from traditional Korean dress — including goreum (ribbon ties), dongjeong(contrasting collar details), and traditional fastening techniques — are reinterpreted as structural details, reinforcing the identity of PARKCHOONMOO. Raw, unfinished expressions are juxtaposed with intricate textures and precise construction, creating a deliberate tension between restraint and complexity.

Layering, a recurring signature of the brand, takes on greater depth this season through the use of translucent and contrasting materials. Organza, cotton, linen, satin silk, and knit are layered to create dimensional forms and subtle shifts in transparency. A restrained palette of black, ivory, and white is punctuated by red, introducing a sharp visual contrast.

Stitching, patchwork, tassels, quilting, pleats, and loop details further articulate the collection, while inside-out construction exposes seams and normally concealed elements of the garment. These techniques introduce a deconstructed sensibility while preserving the collection’s meticulous craftsmanship.
