Marine Serre Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 during Paris Fashion Week

For Spring/Summer 2027, Marine Serre unveils THE DEEP SHINE, a collection that continues the House’s reflection on time through light, material and movement. Conceived as an intimate expression of luxury, it explores a sensual, elegant yet cool wardrobe, where couture codes meet the ease of clothes made to be lived in. Its radiance comes from within: the body, the hand of the maker and the memory held inside each textile. Like moonlight beneath moving water, its shine is revealed gradually, through changing surfaces and the woman who brings them to life.

The collection opens with 1980s references, expressed through gathering and volume in trench fabricsand leather. Amplified shoulders give presence to the upper body, while the rest of the silhouette remains fluid and the legs appear long and slender. Sensuality lies in proportion rather than restriction. Deep, sophisticated browns, straw-effect tweeds and classic beige trench fabrics gradually fade into white; sun bleached denim brings an effortless contrast. A semi-couture dress combining crochet, sequins and feathers creates a delicate, straw-like surface, extending this sense of strength and sensuality into a long, fluid evening silhouette.

Regeneration is central to the House’s creative language. Vintage silk scarves, upcycled T-shirts, sequins, lace and crochet are reconstructed into contemporary pieces, their different histories visible in the finished garment. Upcycled elements create fragmented surfaces that alternate between density and transparency, revealing the body in unexpected ways. Frayed tweed, embroidery and reworked textiles bring depth and texture, while denim, leather and jersey ground the collection in an everyday wardrobe. The result is a dialogue between rawness and refinement, craft and instinct.

Details of Marine Serre SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027, The collection then moves into a more architectural evening wardrobe. Belts sit low on the hips, almost across the buttocks, with volume emerging beneath the dropped waist and a more defined upper body. Ruffles extend around the knees and move as the wearer walks. Sculptural shoulders, shining layers and couture-inspired constructions give presence without sacrificing ease. Crisp white shirts incorporate small capelines, transforming an everyday piece into a subtle couture gesture. Lace, cut-outs and double-layer transparent dresses express a confident femininity: clothing that fits like a glove around the body while allowing the woman herself to shine. The Moon remains omnipresent, yet increasingly discreet. The new Baby Moon flock appears on transparent evening dresses like an almost imperceptible plumetis. Barely visible Moon jacquards emerge across acid-yellow knits; on pink sequins, the motif is revealed through subtle differences in transparency. Multiple Moon belts wrap playfully around the body and redefine the waist. Rather than an obvious logo, the House’s signature is embedded in the garment, felt before it is recognised.

From this evening wardrobe, colour gradually takes over. Sky blue and saturated blue introduce a playful, pop energy, while vintage upcycled T-shirts meet green and blue silk scarves. An icon of the House, the silk scarf is continuously reinterpreted: a tube dress is extended by two long silk drapes, transforming a simple silhouette into a couture-like butterfly piece; elsewhere, the silk-scarf cap blurs the boundary between garment and accessory. These pieces bring a dreamlike couture gesture to a wardrobe that remains easy to wear and powerful. Colour moves across materials, shine, texture and volume. Sequins catch the light like iridescent fish scales; lace and transparent layers make colour appear and disappear against the skin. The final silhouettes combine plunging draped backs with fragmented constructions in sequins, silk and lace. Pink meets white and red; yellow contrasts with blue and green. The palette becomes increasingly vivid and saturated, carrying joy through transparency, cut-outs and movement. Eveningwear feels both sophisticated and relaxed, with the freedom to move naturally between extraordinary moments and everyday life.

Actress and Friend of the House Stef Roitman naturally embodies THE DEEP SHINE. Free-spirited, irreverent and modern, she brings the collection’s sensuality, confidence and play of volume, transparency and texture to life. Her presence gives the collection movement, personality and instinctive confidence. THE DEEP SHINE expresses the values that have shaped Marine Serre from the beginning: regeneration a creation, sensuality as strength and function as elegance. It is a wardrobe of quiet confidence, shaped by memory and illuminated by craft, where the body is free and the extraordinary becomes part of everyday life. Imagination at the service of transformation. To refine is to reveal. To wear is to give life. The collection ends in an instinctive explosion of colour — colours that bring joy.
