BOY London America Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 10th at 7pm, The Biltmore Los Angeles
BOY London America presents its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “The Evil Eye,” a study of power disguised as protection and the systems that shape how we move through the world. Ancient cultures wore the eye to ward off evil. Today, we willingly place ourselves beneath larger eyes: governments, corporations, religions, social systems, and technology, trusting them to protect us while surrendering pieces of ourselves in return.
Guests of BOY London America SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 are Niko Rubio, Duncan Joseph, Helia Golbin, Deaven Booker, Donovan Groot, Unya, Aslay Baugh, Tatyana Ali
The collection explores a society where observation has become currency and visibility has become control. Status, wealth, faith, influence, and authority dictate who may enter and who must remain outside. Every action is witnessed. Every gesture recorded. Every individual measured against an invisible hierarchy. Work is ever present and neverending. Drawing from religious iconography, state symbolism, protective talismans, and dystopian futurism, The Evil Eye examines the relationship between safety and submission. In a world obsessed with being seen, the greatest act of rebellion may be to disappear.
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection features sharp tailoring, transparent and lightweight fabrics, and floor-length draping. Occult symbols and found trinkets of protection reference the Evil Eye, while heavy layering, graphic details and patches add depth to sheer silhouettes. Continuing BOY London America’s use of constraint, straps, ties and covers appear throughout the collection, alongside hand-embellished garments and accessories. The accessories offering also expands this season to include bags, briefcases, ties, suspenders, hats, scarves, balaclavas, belts, underwear and gloves.
