LETTONNE Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Paris Fashion

Unfolding across New York and Paris Fashion Weeks, LETTONNE’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection reimagines feminine divinity through sensuality, ritual and rebellion. LA PAPESSE takes its name from the High Priestess of the Tarot, a figure of intuition whose knowledge needs no explanation. Women create and nourish life, yet the image of the creator has been overwhelmingly male. LETTONNE begins from the conviction that a woman is already divine.

LETTONNE SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection holds femininity’s contradictions as expressions of one power: control and liberation, vulnerability and strength, sexuality and spirituality. Devotional imagery sits alongside the erotic, and the body becomes its own iconography, where breasts and nipples can represent desire as much as nourishment. Sensuality does not diminish the sacred. It belongs to it. The collection unfolded in two chapters, in red and black, season’s only two colors. Ten looks appeared in red at The Mulberry Bar in New York. Twenty followed at Lucid Interval in Paris, with several New York designs reimagined in black. Red speaks to emotion, sensuality and the intensity of being alive. Black introduces another dimension, enigmatic, assured and effortlessly powerful. Together, they explore the many facets of a woman who refuses to be defined.

In New York, DJ Andi Harriman opened by walking the runway before taking the decks. Tarot reader Angela Lucy, also in the cast, later gave private readings in the Whisper Room. In Paris, World of Command played from a basement booth and was later joined by DJ Priss for a back-to-back set. True to the brand’s roots in nightlife, neither show followed convention and each presentation transitioned immediately into an on-site afterparty.

For the Paris presentation, casting director Tom Goddard brought together women whose individuality, confidence and distinctive beauty reflected the spirit of the collection. Each brought her own presence and personality, expressing different facets of femininity, sensuality and independence. The show was styled by Onek, whose vision embraced the collection’s exploration of femininity in all its complexity. Sculptural horn-like forms return from the debut Fall/Winter 2026 collection, drawing on the symbolism of the Eastern Skunk Cabbage, the brand’s emblematic flower. These forms become an expression of female sovereignty, embodying strength, independence and the freedom to exist on one’s own terms. For LETTONNE, this freedom is fundamental. A woman’s sensuality, confidence and desire for self-expression belong to her alone. Her freedom is never an invitation to violence, nor should she ever have to diminish herself to feel safe.

On the runway, studio-made chokers and the house’s signature rounded shoulders introduce a sculptural strength, contrasted with plunging necklines and exposed backs. Wax-coated denim meets translucent chiffon, while leather frames silk crepe, the defining fabric of the season, at once delicate and monumental. Sixteen of the twenty looks feature dresses or skirts. Beneath the refinement, rebellion remains. Biker leather trousers, sculptural tops and bottoms as well as expressive hair and makeup, made by Katrin and Emma, add a harder edge. However sophisticated LETTONNE becomes, its spirit remains punk.

For founder, creative director and designer Anita, the LA PAPESSE collection explores female self-determination. The High Priestess can be oracle, creator, lover and rebel, without choosing between them or explaining her power: “She is her own authority. She is her own source.”
