Siegenthaler Spring/Summer 2027 / SS27 at Paris Fashion entitled AXIS MUNDI

Duc Siegenthaler presents AXIS MUNDI, his SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 collection: the season of the centre. A season in motion, a return to the source — unveiled as a Guest show at Mode Suisse (Zurich, for the 20th anniversary of HEAD-Genève) and at the Likewise showroom (Paris). After the epic of Lore Genesis, the perpetual metamorphosis of Metamorphosis Perpetua and the inhabited finitude of Memento Mori, the maison opens a new chapter.

Siegenthaler SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027 is the fixed point from which orientation becomes possible again, what does not move and makes everything that moves inhabitable. A symbolic structure found in every civilisation: the sacred pillar of the Ise shrine, invisible and transferred every twenty years during its ritual rebuilding, like the pole star that guides without moving. AXIS MUNDI asks what remains when movement stops, not its end but its foundation. The centre to set off again. For Duc Siegenthaler, who has spent twenty years navigating between geographies and identities, this is not the story of his origins, but the formalisation of a rebuilt centre, where the lines finally converge.

Siegenthaler SS27 / Spring/Summer 2027, The collection translates this recovered verticality: column silhouettes, falling drapes, the axis is visible. Like the sacred pillar of Ise, the structure hides in the detail. AXIS MUNDI carries forward the maison’s construction principles by revisiting new wardrobe references, starting with the HILDEGARD cropped trench coat, built around its three systems BAHAMUT, HILDEGARD and KRAKEN: side slits with adjustable buttons and ties, detachable drape panels, removable sculptural shoulder drapes, strap-and-buckle “chaps”. A single garment carries several identities and circulates freely between bodies and genders. More summery, the season introduces lighter pieces, short shorts and suits, and a palette rooted in nature: sage, olive and khaki greens, twill and earth browns, marbled sky and pearl denims, brick and camel gabardines, through to deep black and off-white.

About the designer, Born in Asia of Sino-Vietnamese origin and adopted by a Swiss family, Duc Siegenthaler is a Paris-based fashion designer. This multi-culturality grounds his artistic approach: developing a singular take on clothing as a second skin that modulates identity. A graduate of HEAD – Geneva (2017), where he refined his conceptual vision under Glenn Martens, he then gained three solid years at Y/Project, heading the Flou and Tailoring department. In 2023 he founded his label SIEGENTHALER, exploring the contrasts between structure and fluidity. His passion for craft and taste for innovation have led him to collaborate with Nike and to be selected to represent the young generation of French design at KEQIAO Fashion Week in Shanghai, October 2024. He also teaches at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris. Beyond ready-to-wear, the maison dresses the stage and elite sport: costumes for choreographer Nicolas Huchard at the Théâtre national de la Danse de Chaillot, a bespoke outfit for vaulter Quentin Jabet, two-time winner of the Vaulting World Cup (2025 and 2026). After a first collection shown at RUN x ANDAM and a second at LIKEWISE, the maison returns for a third collection at the LIKEWISE showroom in Paris and presents AXIS MUNDI on the runway at Mode Suisse (Zurich).
