Stone Island unveils the next chapter of No Seasons Autumn_Winter ‘026 – ‘027

19 October 2026 – Stone Island is proud to unveil the next chapter of NO SEASONS, taking forward an original project by Massimo Osti, first introduced in 1989 until 1994. This capsule draws from Stone Island timelessness by shaping new outerwear archetypes, rooted in history but forward-looking in design. NO SEASONS encapsulates Osti’s beyond-fashion approach to design that is concerned with continuation and evolution rather than fleeting seasonal changes. It is also a testament to the considered, thoughtful viewpoint that is based on incremental, focused development rather than trends.

To emphasize the atemporal aspect of this project, the new iteration of NO SEASONS revolves around a single outerwear style realized in six iconic fabrications: Tela Resinata, Nylon Prismatico-TC, Raso Gommato, David-TC, Crinkle Reps NY, and Panno. To keep the focus on materials and construction, all six fabric variations of the garment are dyed the piombo colour, allowing each material to dictate the precise tone and hue. Each fabrication provides a distinct version of the same model, while reflecting Stone Island’s ongoing commitment to material science.

In their contemporary update, the six jackets present a three-dimensional hood with tape drawstring, an articulated central panel, two chest pockets with concealed zippers, two side pockets, and adjustable cuffs with snaps. Engineered for continuous wear, NO SEASONS pieces are calibrated through fabric innovation, construction discipline and functional clarity, standing collectively as a permanent reference that aligns living knowledge with present purpose and advances the dialogue between convention and experimentation at the core of Stone Island.

In the context of the ‘Community as a Form of Research’ project, rapper Skepta wears 41NS001Tela Resinata Stone Island No Seasons. An evolution of ‘Tela Stella’, the iconic fabric that marked the beginning of Stone Island, this hooded jacket is made from a cotton canvas impregnated and coloured on both sides with pigmented resins in contrasting tones. The finished garment is washed to achieve a textured appearance.

TELA RESINATA, 50% RECYCLED COTTON, This updated version of the iconic “Tela Stella” fabric that inaugurated Stone Island is a new type of cotton canvas made with 50% recycled cotton that is impregnated with resin and colored on both sides with pigmented resins in contrasting toes. The finished garment is washed to enhance the textural appearance of the dye.

PRISMATIC NYLON-TC, Lightweight nylon tela is bonded to a glossy, transparent polyurethane film with a finely grooved structure that makes it wind and water resistant. The fabric’s unique composition lends itself to finely varied shades of color through the garment dyeing process. The film’s light refracting texture refracts light and enhances the chromatic effect of the dye, giving the garment a “liquid” and three-dimensional appearance.

RASO GOMMATO TRANSPARENT COVER-TC, This military-derived satin weave cotton is a contemporary take on another classic Stone Island fabric, “Raso Gommato.” The fabric features a transparent polyurethane coating applied to the inside for resistance to wind and water. Thanks to the double-dye recipe for cotton and nylon, the fabric components and the polyurethane film take on two different shades of colour. Further weather-proofing is provided by the addition of an anti-drop agent.

DAVID-TC, A star-shaped Japanese polyester/polyamide blend serves as the base layer material that is simultaneously garment dyed and treated with an anti-drop agent. During the pressurized dye process under 130°C, the fabric compresses to achieve a unique touch and feel due to its newly formed texture. The Responsible Down Standard certified feather liner is attached with a sailing-inspired Dutch rope system.

CRINKLE REPS NY, RECYCLED NYLON, Light recycled nylon featuring an ultra-tight rep weaving construction. The fabric is resin-coated on its inner face for wind and water resistance and then garment dyed. The resin allows for uneven color penetration, rendering each garment unique and providing the signature crinkle feel. An anti-drop agent is added to the dyeing formula for additional functionality.

PANNO, A wool-nylon material undergoes a “KD” finishing process that compacts the fabric to a high density that allows raw-edge construction without compromising the material’s integrity. Multiaxial quilted lining is padded with PrimaLoft® Silver, made from ultra-fine, water-resistant fibers, for impeccable thermal efficiency.
