“I like the idea of a woman being able to shine at home, while living fully in the more tranquil moments. The woman is captivating, her every movement with grace and poise, while unrestrained and free.” This is how Chiara Boni describes the essence of the LEISURE collection, which arose during the first lockdown last year. The capsule collection features separates with a relaxed feel, understated yet filled with character, in a continuation of the brand’s signature timeless looks for the modern woman.
Essential looks include palazzo pants, slim and relaxed fit joggers with banded cuffs, versatile tops, and neatly-fitted bomber jackets that can be worn as a full look or paired with jeans. These fluid, comfortable separates are crafted in the brand’s iconic sustainable stretch jersey, which, for the FW21-22 season, are crafted in glitter and velvet fabrications and with plaid prints. This is why the video is set precisely between those domestic walls, in the heart of Milan at sunset. Filmed through the eyes of Chiara Boni, who imagines a luminous woman who confidently embraces the future, at a time when it is difficult to imagine.
CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe was established in 2017 from Florentine designer Chiara Boni’s desire to create a collection able to exalt the femininity of women’s bodies while offering ultimate practicality and comfort. The brand gained universal acclaim and acquired a ‘cult’ status between its loyal customer base and celebrity following. The brand immediately began its international expansion, and opened its own showroom in New York. In the USA, CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe is sold at the top department stores including Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, and in premier boutiques in Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Russia.
In September 2015, CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe inaugurated its first flagship in Milan, followed by a boutique in Rome in November 2016 and Florence in 2019. In September 2019, together with Eurojersey, CHIARA BONI La Petite Robe became the first Italian women’s wear company to obtain the PEF “Product Environmental Footprint” European certification.
