Theo Fall Winter 2022 at New York Fashion Week

Crystalize. Mature. Dare.

The new co-ed Fall’22 collection by THEO brings out brand’s essence in its purest form. After switching to presenting co-ed gender-fluid collections a few seasons back, THEO team has now built a solid ground for the new brand’s identity – playing with silhouettes, fabrics and proportions more freely than ever. Idea forms matter – thus consciousness and deep selfawareness fosters designs to be bold, simple and effortlessly to the point. Form and function power play is eliminated – and the lead role goes to the intensity between anonymous archetypical garments whose identities are emphasized.

It is not about blending the opposites – but juxtaposing them, letting them shine through. It is not about trying to be someone or something you are not. The garments are to serve people, help find their identity and express it to the fullest.

Every piece of Fall’22 collection has its own personal identity. Some opt for anonymity, others strive for appeal. There are those who whisper and those who shout. And each deserves unfiltered attention. Dresses showing the body the way it is, masculine suits upgraded with colors and textures, outerwear assuming the role of shelter – the work with fabrics is exquisite yet effortlessly looking in every piece, especially so – in eveningwear garments. For the second season in a row THEO develops its athleisure line, adding edge with oversized cut and unexpected use of eco-leather for tracksuits. The deliberately slow-motion’ed video for the collection presentation at New York Fashion Week is yet another reminder that true beauty – of the moment and of the garment – needs time to be appreciated.

Contrasting and bold, loud and quiet, altogether Fall’22 pieces form a beautifully united choir – with each item standing out in its authentic way, their differences benefiting everyone. Providing their owners all the spectrum of self-expression tools depending on the mood, location and the message they aim to convey.
