DIDU Spring Summer 2023 collection, The concept behind ‘I CANNOT HIDE MY ANGER’ emerged from the designer’s feelings during the recent pandemic, which strengthened from the frustration of closed borders, frozen cultural life, and the new state of war.

DIDU Spring Summer 2023 collection inspirations makes direct reference to the Italian artist Monica Bonvini’s work entitled ‘I CANNOT HIDE MY ANGER’ in which she explores ruthless political statements, the impact of institutional decisions on society as well as on conditions of artistic productions.

In this collection, camouflage colors and military type prints complement DIDU’s usual daring and revealing cuts, almost using skin as a fabric. Straightforward prints come with belts that do no enclose the body but are part of an armor to face the world.
