“Searching for Shadows” Han Kjøbenhavn spring summer 2023 presents its ready-to-wear women’s collection during Milan Fashion Week. The Danish fashion house continues its artistic direction focusing on sharp contrasts with straight lines and skintight design that are elegantly combined with voluminous silhouettes.
Handcrafted sculptural shoes with customized aluminum details, lightweight designed safety eyewear in collaboration with Danish safety company Airtox, and 3D designed chrome-like details directing the garments shows in the collection.
Vegan leather, delicate pleated silks, jacquard organza, wool, and flowy Japanese jersey are the dominating fabrics in Han Kjøbenhavn Spring Summer 2023 collection. The color scale is kept in dark and warm grey tones, complimented by silver chrome throughout the collection.
“This collection originates from the emotions that are brought to life when being in the darkness and searching for shadows. Shadows are what we think of it to be. The objects, shapes, and emotions it carries with it, is up to the receiver to feel. My aim is that it is interesting enough for people to engage in”, says Founder & Artistic Director, Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen. Named “Searching for Shadows” the Han Kjøbenhavn spring summer 2023 women’s ready-to-wear collection, was presented in the Garden Senato.
