DANAME Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection at Paris Fashion

This season, DANAME Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection is inspired by “KINTSUGI”, an ancestral Japanese technique that consists in repairing a broken object by pouring gold powder into the cracks, thus obtaining a more precious object, by underlining its flaws rather than masking them.

For DANAME Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection, DANAME extrapolated this concept onto women’s bodies who pour gold on their scars, coming mainly from cancer. These scars turn into gold, reminding us that we can turn a dramatic and traumatic event into resilience, victory and gold. It is an Ode to women, their healing bodies and their golden scars.
