LAURENCEAIRLINE Boutique’s opening in paris during fashion week
A few months after opening a boutique-gallery in Grand-Bassam, Côte d’lvoire, where she creates and manufactures, Laurence Airline is opening her first permanent outlet in Paris. In this space nestled in the heart of the Haut-Marais district. Through her collections, which are produced in small series and some of which will be sold exclusively in the boutique. The brands invite us to take a fresh look at craftsmanship and celebrates the dialogue between cultures.
Drawing inspiration from her own multicultural origins, founder Laurence Chauvin-Buthaud has managed to curate a distinct identity by highlighting West African culture while offering a reading that is resolutely open to the world. From Grand Bassam in Ivory Coast to Paris, and because creativity knows no boundaries.
In this new space, alongside the menswear lines that have made her reputation, LAURENCEAIRLINE is offering her first collection for women this summer 2023. For the womenswear and menswear, Laurence Chauvin-Buthaud love clothes and materials “that embody the freedom of movement”. A specialist in men’s shirts and devotee of perfect proportions, LAURENCEAIRLINE offers a new femininity.
LAURENCEAIRLINE is thrilled to have a meaningful new presence in the capital, an expression of its singularity that will extend the brand’s history in its nomadic journey.
The brand has built up a reputation all across Africa, by being present in niche and local cutting-edge concept stores. Initially known for its men’s collections, the brand is now extending its range to include a mixed wardrobe as well as pieces designed for women.
