Wilsonkaki Collection 004 Spring/Summer 2024 takes inspiration from the wrinkled folds in people’s clothes. The designer stumbled “upon this concept during rush hour when people were commuting to work. the collection aims to express people’s daily activities through the foundations of the garments that they wear every day, proposing “”Traces of Life”.

Wilsonkaki SS24 collection explores the interaction between our daily activities and garment, reconstructing everyday. Wardrobe staples such as T-shirts, workwear jackets, cargo pants, jeans, etc. The clothing structure and details are elevated, and some inertial actions in our lives are applied to the clothes, such as pulling up hands, walking, and sitting down. An aluminum-based memory fabric’s used for a series of garments and responds to the body’s actions.

The idea behind it is that the stress we encounter in life is like sitting down and pressing on the clothes, to create random pleats, and it symbolizes the invisible pressure in our daily life.

Wilsonkaki SS24 collection employs a variety of bonding and lamination methods, applied to different products and textures, presenting a variety of chaotic folds and pleats while being orderly. Snap buttons and studs are key elements that provide functionality for the garment, allowing for style variation. The buttons are also used to create other kinds of pleats. The pleats are allocated to specific areas, using their special characteristics to shape the forms of garments and applying the ergonomic idea to make the garments fit our body and maximize flexibility, offering a unique cutting whi e comfortable wearing experience.

The brand’s signature magnetic closure pants, which have an automatic open and close function, providing the wearer with the best wearing experience in the most convenient way. This feature helps prevent embarrassing moments in dai y life and simplifies life details, making the wearer’s life easier than ever.

The design team has collected digital watches from the 70s-90s and remade them into new accessories such as triple watches, necklaces, and belts, giving new life to beautiful old things that were forgotten. The collection features the Asics GT-2160 and Gel-NYC sneakers for a modern retrolook and everyday comfort.
