DRESSEDUNDRESSED Spring Summer 2024 Collection is a video presentation piece centered around the theme of self-portraits. Models walk with mirrored poses, as if tracing their own reflections in a mirror, repeatedly fading away.
The collection of DRESSEDUNDRESSED SS24 features loose silhouette trousers in hammer satin, with nude and portrait posing. There are sheer dresses embroidered with verses from Stéphane Mallarmé’s poetry. Tailoring includes brooches depicting nipples at the chest.
The looks consist of mirrored compositions, symmetrically arranged with color or material variations from the center outwards. This creates a dual self-image effect, emerging within the gap and multiple reflections between oneself and the mirror image.
DRESSEDUNDRESSED Spring Summer 2024 collection explores the close interrelation between embodiment, sexuality, and tangible issues. The clothing plays a role in generating situations that are on the boundary of either concealing or revealing.
Through self-introspection, it pursues the integration of inner language and external form, as well as the potential and challenges of clothing.
