Welcome to MAINS’ Runway. We urge you to pay attention and be present in this moment. Acknowledge those people around you, concentrate on your breathing and immerse yourself into this one-of-a-kind MAINS experience.

This collection cannot be straightforwardly explained – all that you will see today are the outputs from a collective process that has seen us take many risks and break so-called rules. Is this a spring collection? A fall collection? A hybrid? We don’t design according to season.

“This is England”. The weather does what it wants and so do we.

Today, we simply share with you the first chapter of many. We reiterate the DNA of MAINS, whilst also stepping into the future. Silhouettes and shapes may feel familiar from previous collections as this is not a reset or rebrand; this is the evolution of MAINS.

The essence remains, complete with new elements inspired by our hometown, London. British fabric suppliers produce some of the finest materials in the world, and we’ve spent hours selecting the right materials to radically update original pieces, such as the Drill Suit, reimagined in raw silk and evolving silhouettes in unexpected fabrics, like the boucle bomber. We’ve also created a new leather Accessories line encompassing an original Backpack, Harness and Holdall for MAINS London SS24.

The time I’ve spent in the studio with the team, conceiving these pieces and personally embellishing much of what you see today, has been both a beautiful and nourishing process. This collection, these fabrics, these techniques are a piece of me. Of us.

This is MAINS, designed in our language, for us.

Today we leave our hearts on the table: all that we’ve achieved leads us to this pivotal moment. MAINS is here to stay.
