With the SS24 collection, Alessandro Enriquez continues his personal and revisited story of the legend of the Siren, reinterpreted and enriched by his postmodern vision of “multisensory” love, a feeling experienced and animated between a “new mermaid” who is serene and sweet and the human world.

The sensuality of bodies is entrusted to dance in a movie directed by Alessandro himself, passing through the places of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa in Palma di Montechiaro where the essence of the collection is expressed through sensuality, grace and light.

Thus, the nuances of the Alessandro Enriquez Spring Summer 2024 collection are natural ones, exaggerated and made vivid for a surprising proposal of colours. From the blues and oranges of Sicilian sunrises to the blues and blacks of the seabed, up to the brighter colours such as green, turquoise and red that together with coral pink and shell white complete the colour palette.

The fringes are born from anemones, the embroidery from starfish, and so on every element of the sea inspires the collection. Flowing kaftans in soft plain colour and printed cady, fabulous full skirts in linen and cotton and silk shirtdresses with a 1950s flavour.

New for the season is a capsule in collaboration with UNIC Concerie Italiane and Lineapelle, in which Made in Italy leathers edge the collection’s silhouettes in nappa leather and suede. From the scales of the mermaid’s tail, Alessandro redesigns a cloak of leather sequins with which a series of more enveloping volumes will be created, such as mini skirts, bowling shirts, flared trousers and essential A-line pieces that also come in a weave of impalpable sea-coloured nappa leather.

Alessandro Enriquez SS24 collection brings together, in a narrative version, 30 prints linked to the world of the sea, the patterns of sea urchins alternating with seahorses and crabs which, with a series of red and white and blue and white checks and stripes, recall vintage advertisements.

A magical world, a fantastic Eden with crowned unicorns, mermaids, tritons and sea animals, is described in a duchess series made with 100% recycled yarns. The brand’s iconichearts come to life amongst the white and blue sea waves for the organic linen series.

The softness of crepe de chine and the naturalness of linen complete the womenswear with shirtdresses and more sensual, loose-fitting dresses with cut-out motifs from a collection dedicated to polyamory.

A pack of oversized sweatshirts and striped and embroidered shirts give a nautical touch to the story punctuated by the shouts of the season, AMORE AMORE AMORE and SEASON OF LOVE.
